Reuters Jeff Mason and Mark Felsenthal report: John Boehner, Republican speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, said on Tuesday he would support President Barack Obama's call for military action in Syria and urged his colleagues in Congress to do the same. Speaking to reporters after a meeting with Obama at the White House, Boehner said the United States had to respond to the use of chemical weapons in Syria and show allies that America would stand up when necessary.

The amazing thing is not that so many GOP officials are obviously compromised (blackmailed) but that they even lack the moral fiber not run for reelection much less resign like they should. It tells me that the entire process for choosing GOP candidates is controlled by democrats.

obama knows the republicans will lose 2014 BECAUSE of this vote. At the same time, he knows democrats are safe. And boner and mccain volunteer for it. I’ll never vote for another republican. If I have the chance to vote for Cruz or Palin I’ll write their names in.

It was just reported that the President of France said, "If Congress does not vote to support a military action in Syria, the French are out. They will not participate based upon what congress decides.

Is this to stampede congress to support the action or is this to be an excuse to get out of their stated comittment?

Somehow we have to make it clear that if they vote to authorize, we will vote to recall, vote to primary against them and if they survive that, vote for their opponent whether they are Democrat, Independent, Anarchist/Libertarian, or whatever.

This nonsense has to be stopped.

Boehner must be driven from office at all costs.

Totally agree. He is worse than a failure; he is a turncoat.

Boehner is obviously compromised. He was sitting next to Obama this morning with a sheepish look that just screamed of rolling over again. The Dems must really have something good on him.

And Boehner isn't the only one.
I hope the others that are going along with this for payoffs are first in hell to welcome their buddies.
They should remember that the stores are all closed there.

The good news is, after Obama (and now Boehner, too) start World War III, there will be no human life left on the planet Earth.

The Good News is that they will not defeat the King of Kings. Until then, the sign says 'ROUGH ROAD AHEAD'.

It certainly appears to be the case. Boehner has clearly been compromised.

Where’s commentary from Kevin McCarthy? Is he staying silent since his term expires Jan 2015?

Boehner has obviously had major surgery. I have not yet determined whether it was a lobotomy or a castration.

Who used the weapons? Was it Assad or the “Rebels”?

That is the key question. Even if it can be shown that the Syrian army used the gas (which I doubt), then the next question becomes: Was it ordered by Assad, or was it done by a rogue officer?

No matter. Obama will say something along the lines of: "We have proof that Assad ordered the attack. You must take my word for that. The proof is classified, so you cannot see it."

That won't be good enough for the majority of Americans. But who cares about them? It will be good enough for the majority of Congress.

Hmmm, pretty good.

Here is another argument I can use when some of these GOP bozos come calling for a contribution.

Let me make a note of that.

Obama can also call Boehner, “my speaker of the house”.

I hope the Russians issue a real threat and do it publicly. Let the people know it was congress that allowed obama to get us nuke...or at the very least, into WWIII. The entire world is against us on this. Except for The French. That is sick.

True. Thanks for the reminder. At least this is all going down according to Scripture.

These pics need to be sent to boner. A slobbering drunk who sold his soul and his country out. Send John a note asking him if his WWII veteran father would be proud of how John is fighting for the good of his country, the Constitution and the liberty and freedom HE, the father, fought for. What a legacy...a slobbering drunk who sold out his country and his soul.
