Just a reminder. This is a voter rebellion. The tea party rebellion. We are rebelling against business as usual in DC and against both major parties. The democrats have gone full-bore Marxist. The Republican GOP-e has gone full-bore statist. Very little difference liberty-wise, they're both anti-liberty. Neither party defends the constitution or our God-given liberty. They are ignoring the constitution and granting themselves dictatorial powers in the central government. We the people are basically at war against the ruling class. It's the tea party rebellion.
Reagan said that freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. Well, we are now that last generation. We must fight like never before for our freedom because the younger generations have mostly been brainwashed in government schools to believe in some other way of life than the one Reagan lived and that we lived, love and cherish. And the statist/socialist politicians of both parties are more than willing to exploit them (the children) to satisfy their own selfish, corrupt lust for power and greed.
And now we are possibly only one or two elections away from a real rebellion. If the socialist/communist/fascist/Marxist statists win in 2014 and 2016, America as we once knew and loved it is possibly gone for good.
I'm getting old and not so well off health-wise and may not be of much use in a real shooting rebellion, but I'm in my prime in this current tea party rebellion.
I've been giving plenty of advance notice. This website is here to defend liberty and our American heritage. I fell in love with the idea of the tea party rebellion on the day it was born and I'm in all the way. As far as I'm concerned, it's now or never for liberty.
Sarah Palin and Ted Cruz are two of the strongest tea party leaders stepping forward to-date. If either one of these two patriots decides to run for the presidency, I'm sure he or she will be the strongest conservative running and this site will support him or her to the HILT. And I'm sure the vast majority of the grassroots patriot tea party movement will be right there with us.
Those who wish to torpedo their chances, thereby allowing the socialists and statists free reign to continue destroying our freedom, our liberty, our traditional American way of life, and our very right to survive as a free nation are certainly free to do so--somewhere else. Not on FR. We're not going to repeat the last two election cycles. McCain/Romney is the end of the GOP-e RINO train!! NO MORE!!

Paul has a national organization (Ron Paul’s organization) that Cruz does not. So Paul has a big edge there, plus Cruz has only been in the Senator for a year, not a lot of experience. I do think he (Cruz) is a little better on issues, but only a little better. Hopefully the three of them (Palin, Paul, Cruz) will work together to get one of them elected in 2016. Right now the goal should be to take the Senate and put more Tea Party people in the House.
Cruz has the correct position on Syria.

With all due respect, I believe the fundraisers would not be so difficult if so many people weren’t run off. There shouldn’t be anything we can’t talk abouton these threads. Good, activist, intelligent folks were run off. Seems all those freepers I learned from, who knew a thing or two about the Constitution, are gone. Ran off. Banned. Because a bunch of cry baby RINO’s here didn’t have ears to hear.

Constitutional knowledge was NOT an issue and there are tons here who know tons about it, as does Ted Cruz himself, the CATO institute and Mark Levin, etc.

Where was Ted going wrong, in your previous assessment? I know he said the U.S. should not be al-qaida’s airforce, echoing What Dennis Kucinich also said. What happened before that, that worried you? If you wouldn’t mind...
