What does anyone think of this bumper sticker idea [Mega Vanity]

I am seriously thinking of having the following custom bumper sticker made. What kind of trouble does anyone think I can get into just by displaying this on my car?:
Sic semper tyrannis
I know little to no Latin, and so I can credibly plead ignorance to its meaning. The phrase mentions no one by name. Pretty nebulous, by any standard.
So, what say you? Am I asking for trouble? I would give my life to be used as the effective impetus of the Revolution, but how bad could this be for me?
BTW, it will be VERY LARGE LETTERS.
Lastly, would anyone else be interested in one, to defray the cost?

How did you relate that phrase to the discussion? :)
(I know nothing.)

I had that one affixed back in 2000. And yes, on the front bumper.

Why not just have a sticker of the flag of the state of VA on the back of your car? That way you could express your support for “liberty over tyranny” while also sending a big ole ooo-wee honey child shout out to the big-government gun-grabbing homosexuals north of Richmond! Go for it, you sockdologizing old man-trap!

Given that the phrase is not obscure, and is intimately associated with the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln and Roman dictator Julius Caesar, you might want to rethink putting it on your car.
Would you display a bumper sticker that said, "Assassinate Obama"?
If not, then a well-known Latin phrase is not an effective way to "hide" that sentiment.

A bumper sticker that says “VERY LARGE LETTERS” in Latin? I don’t get it.

If I recall my schoolgirl Latin, the translation is “Thus always to tyrants,” which doesn’t mean much by itself until you recall Shakespeare’s play “Julius Caesar” . . . where it meant, “Tyrants eventually always get the knife” (implying that they deserve it).
I guess it depends on how much your audience knows about Shakespeare. ;o)

Personally I'd rather not advertise any opinion at all on my car.

Really? why would you put a sticker on your car if you didn’t know the meaning of it?
Second question: Why would you ever put ANY sticker on your car anyway? Just sayin’.
Someone once said, that a person with lots of bumper stickers on his car just tells him one thing ‘that I don’t want to know you’. That makes a world of sense to me.
