Gender bender JW Anderson's backless, semi-sheer halter tops for men raised eyebrows at London Men's Fashion Week.
Dry run Another London up-and-comer, Shaun Sampson, showed pale pink organza board shorts and 'skirts' made to look like beach towels.
Frill seekers Martine Roses collection combines feminine elements with inspiration drawn from sports and athletic kits.
Curtain raiser At Alexander McQueen, creative director Sarah Burton opened the show with a fitted suit of white lace.
Skull disclosure The trademark Alexander McQueen skull was woven into the lace designs.
Herd instinct The Topman show featured fanciful cowboys in embroidered florals.
Some fashion trends sneak up on you. Others ring out loud and clear. Last week, as the Spring 14 menswear shows kicked off in London, one trend sounded with all the subtlety of an air horn: androgyny is the new black.

Short answer? No.
A bunch of fag designers will concoct this trash.
The Beautiful People will gush over how “innovative” and “daring” it is, just like the last dozen times it was “innovative” and “daring.”
A handful of fag elitist girly-men will buy it.
One or two average men will actually wear it. They will be objects of ridicule and will put it away with their Nehru jackets, their platform disco shoes, and their powder-blue leisure suits and never wear it again. Or they will get beat up.
Merchants conned into stocking this junk will rue the day, sell the stuff for pennies on the dollar to rag makers, and vow to never again trust the poofs in the fashion world.
Real men will continue to wear jeans, ratty tees, flannel, and bowling shirts. And beat the tar out of anyone queer enough to show up in one of these clown outfits.
I see the homos who steer the fashion industry are not satisfied with making women look stupid and uncomfortable. Now they are taking out their emotional issues on men, too.
This, OTOH ...
Some people wear fashion statements. Some people wear shoes.
Only a queer would wear that shit!
Russia would win a war with us today. We have become pathetic
look at the news.
msnbc and cnn has become a testicle free zone. only homosexuals and militant female homosexuals need apply in front or behind the camera.
on FNC it is eyecandy women with no substance or worse more deviants that belong on msnbc spouting the left wing or rino positions..
In movies it is all boys bad/ girls good.
There are no boys in college. Sports do not allow winners or agression.
That was revised later, but they were called man-bags.
Only allowed for those times when you have more guns and ammunition than pockets to carry them.
What about bright red? I have a bright red shirt and a red and blue striped dress shirt that I wear to work. I also have quite a few orange t-shirts.
No kidding. I rebuilt the heels of mine and they look just fine.
I am 72. For my second birthday, my grandfather who was friends with Mr. Justin make me a pair of boots. I have pictures of me wearing them with a little velvet dress.
I guess I should have qualified that; red, bright blue, yellow and Kelly green are great. Purple is not. Pink is just plain weird on a man. And most pastels make a man look wimpy, in my very opinionated opinion. I just prefer strange, unnameable colors.
HAHAHAHA!
Not that I need validation, justification, or anything else. I find the fit, function, looks and lady killing ability of this footwear to be just fine, thank you very much.
;-)
No thoughts on orange? :p
Only obama and the rest of the queer population of the U.S., will buy that crap!
Oh, those poor young queens.
Erm..I mean ladies.
Erm ... young men.
Whatever.
I think the phrase “I’d rather die” comes to mind.
Good grief. Ugly garbage.
I need a shower!
Horrid idea for me; it's already hard to find a codpiece large enough. ;-')
It’s the haircut that really gets you, be honest now.
