Hip-Hop artist Akon posted this message to the black community:
Every African American in the United States need to move their money, family, knowledge back to Africa were u will be treated like the royalty you are. You dont deserve this treatment. This is not your country!!
Really Akon?
So where is Akon suggesting the blacks move to?
Nigeria? Zimbabwe? Egypt?
All the hot black fems love to go there to dance.
I don’t think “African-Americans” will like it in Africa. I hear it’s full of uncle toms who are against homosexuality and who thump the Bible ‘n stuff.
They already did. Sharpton compared Trayvon to Medgar Evers.
As a taxpayer it would be money well spent. We can call it a bailout too.
Kwaheri!
I’m sure the Africans would welcome you with open arms.
LOL Akon and whoever goes with him will be in for a rude awakening!
Africans don’t see Black Americans as their brothers and sisters. It’s not a skin color issue, it’s tribal relations that will offer loyalty (Hotel Rwanda anyone?). Problem is, most Black Americans don’t have the faintest which African tribes their families come from so from the perspective of Africans, Black Americans don’t belong to any African tribe on the continent. It’d be a slaughterhouse if Black Americans tried to mass immigrate to Africa.
Let's not forget Somalia. Such a peaceful place (not); but great for anyone needing to shed a few pounds.
Please do move back! Black have an entire country of their ancestry to their own that they can govern and treat as they seem fit. As as the majority, they can profile and discriminate as much as they want!!!
Christine Sommers wrote a book called “Not out of Africa”. She examined the falsehoods in black racist studies. This poor guy should read a little beyond black racial supremacy non sense found in African-American studies. Although slavery was horrific, the offspring of slaves are fortunate to grow up in America versus the miseries of Africa.
Around the time Christine published her “racist” book (Leftists and liberals about wet their pants), an African-American reporter wrote a book describing his shock over the brutality of Africans (Muslims starving, mutilating and enslaving Christians). It was entitled “Rivers of Blood.”
KWEHERI AKON!
But the talented ones (regardless of sex or color) are hidden from public view by Big Media. #1 way to get ahead and stay in the public eye these days is to tow the liberal line.
Beat up on Sarah Palin and Zimmerman on your Twitter feeds and you'll get gushing news mentions.
Publicly support them and you'll likely find yourself blacklisted.
Tom Arnold even got mentioned among the celebs responding to the verdict on Twitter. Tom Arnold, who's he? Some crew member of an old tv show who ended up marrying the star and then getting divorced? Aren't his 15 minutes up yet?
But no, Hollywood of today sells celebrities (and thus movies are celebrity vehicles like the new Johnny Depp as Tonto movie). Remember the 80s? Or 90s? Or The Rolling Stones’ Exile on Main Street Album from back around 1972? Then YOU are a “credible” authority to appear on camera and reminisce about what these things meant to YOU, popular liberal elite celeb.
Unplug from cable. Unsubscribe from Time-Warner/Viacom/Disney's publishing arms.
All that you'll find there is noise to convince you that these are the best/brightest/most relevant/most popular things going on in the world (not only now but) EVER. Of course, those same companies that publish the magazines, own the networks, and own radio stations, own the movie studios who's songs you hear in the background, and own the labels.
Entertainment is a closed shop these days.
Buh-Bye
Oprah has said the same thing.
When I was in school, they invited Dr. Carson as a guest speaker. One of the multicultural groups on campus was not happy. They claimed Dr. Carson never understood the struggle of Blacks.
Facts don’t matter to these people.
Buh-BYE!!!!
;-\
I agree! Africa is a paradise, they will love it.
Don’t let the door hit you in the @$$ on the way out.
I read an interview about a South African man and he said the general concensus about American blacks was that they were spoiled and didn’t know how good they had it here.
Please don’t go Jeantel. We need your knowledge.
