‘Fly on the wall’ reports one juror is holding out for a conviction, jury asks for MS clarification to prove self-defense rules… Not Guilty

If true, this would represent an incredible breach of the integrity of the jury process.

Could the judge, right now, go ask the jury where they stand ... and if the news reports are indeed accurate declare a mistrial?

Phil Keating of FOX is completey full of it. Says the jury clearly are going to convict Zimmerman of manslaughter. No knowledge cold ever lead to this conclusion. The bottom line is that we hope the jury are doing their jobs correctly which means they reviewed murder2, now they’re reviewing manslaughter, then they will review self defense. Then they will issue a verdict.

Keating, the BS'er, got all of that out this question from the jury. I quote - "May we have clarification on the instructions for manslaughter?"

Of course, we can’t help how the jurors might think. They can think any weird way they choose. I’m only restating the law and the facts as I understand them. I did get the impression that you feared not enough proof was offered of Z yelling, and don’t take offense, please, I was just sayin’ that is backwards thinking. But if the jurors are thinking that way, then we are lost, lost, lost.

However, it’s possible only one juror tends to think that way and the others are trying to convince otherwise.

I thought from your tone you were invested in the worry yourself as to whether or not Z was proving he yelled. But if you’re only worried the jury might be thinking of that, then what I said still goes: I restated the law and the facts, which are, as jurors they have already been instructed even by this biased judge that the law requires them to believe Z innocent unless the prosecution’s case proves him guilty beyond reasonable doubt.

I pray the jurors do not ignore that. Because that IS our judicial system in a nutshell

Fox reported the Jury wanted to continue working during the dinner break, I don’t see how deputies can serve them while not walking in and out of the Jury room.

I just came out fom under my oxy mask and a dead sleep to see the crawler say the jury asked for clarification on manslaighter and my heart almost stopped. Now I wish I was still under. Had to take my meds and am praying with all my strength.

You hang in there. Judge told them to ask a more specific question if a rereading of the instructions did not clarify. The last 300 posts on this thread are mostly reactions to a BS "factoid" than a neighbor of GZ claimed to have inside info on the jury deliberation.
