That’s about where I’m at on what they proved.

I just read the instructions to the jury. No wonder they’re taking so long. It was a head-scratcher and full of convoluted language. It probably took the first day and a half to figure out what the heck it was saying.

did the gun jam or did the cartrage stovepipe? .... I never heard any ballistics entered to that effect .... there was speculation the the gun may have jamed because it was limp wristed in that confined firing position

I wondered if the cartrage was found to the left or the right of the fight as the cartrage whould have been expelled out of the port on the right side of the gun and would be on the right of the fight scene if GZ were on the bottom and on the left if GZ were on top of TM

Oh I agree he didn’t HAVE to go home to avoid it.

Just sayin’ if he got home which he did, went inside and stayed there, no problemo.

Manslaughter is ridiculous when you think about it, because it assumes Z did something that inevitably caused T’s death even if he didn’t know it would do so, and assumes that at no point did Z act in self defense even when on his back being beaten.

I don’t know how he would have such insight, but a close friend of GZ’s just said on Fox that he has insight that indicates 5-1 for acquittal with one holdout for manslaughter.

Emotions are running high as we wait for a verdict. I hope my Freeper brothers don't get into too much trouble with their wives during this difficult wait.;-)

In the last few hours, I have bitten my finger nails short and have notice that my eyes have now moved on to my toenails (I think I'll put my shoes on and wash out my eyes with Visine).

I think the jury is wrestling with “reckless disregard” and GZ’s exiting of his truck. I hear at least one talking head who is claiming to know that it's 5 to 1, and only one juror is needing to understand if GZ exiting his truck constitutes “reckless disregard”.
