did the gun jam or did the cartrage stovepipe? .... I never heard any ballistics entered to that effect .... there was speculation the the gun may have jamed because it was limp wristed in that confined firing position

I wondered if the cartrage was found to the left or the right of the fight as the cartrage whould have been expelled out of the port on the right side of the gun and would be on the right of the fight scene if GZ were on the bottom and on the left if GZ were on top of TM

.

There’s info in the forensic report on the gun. I seem to recall it saying just that there was a round in the chamber.

I have never heard that. It's difficult to clear a jam or stove pipe and chamber another round when you are getting your head pounded into the concrete...

All I heard in testimony was that there was a round in the chamber and GZ fired.

I've not heard info about this scenario. However, it's a very interesting theory to help explain why only one shot was fired.

I wondered if the cartrage was found to the left or the right of the fight

Somewhere along the way, I heard the shell casing ejected to the right of the scene, supporting the assertion that GZ was on his back, on the ground.
