The incident involves the unwitting exposure of "tens of thousands" of Social Security numbers, according to a recent audit by the independent transparency and public-domain group Public.Resource.org. The identifying numbers were on the Internet for less than 24 hours after being discovered, but the damage was done. And unfortunately, the data-breach concerns some of the most sensitive types of transactions: Those made by nonprofit political groups known as 527s.

“Oops.” We’re “sorry” for our “accidental” and “inadvertent” release of highly sensitive and compromising information. But, since the breach was “accidental” and there was no “intention” of breaking the law, no one will be punished for this breach. Thanks for playing.
In a just world, people would hang for this. Or the IRS would be permanently abolished, because it obviously can’t discharge its entrusted duties correctly.

Neither can the census bureau/department of commerce. Come census-taking time, I always tape a large printout on my front and back doors of a NYTimes story, which was published some years ago about the huge internet drop of citizens’ personal information.

Like many other Federal agencies the IRS is full of work avoiding porn surfers and affirmative action incompetents. Expect more of this “leaking” in the future from your ObamaCare medical records and NSA data dumps on political enemies.

What’s most disturbing to me about this story—yet another disclosure that would knock any Repub out of the water thanks to the worthless Pravda American media—is that the Clinton/Obama administration has flooded the zone so successfully that no one cares anymore about massive related incompetence and freedom-changing plots against we American Citizens, except us lil’ ole’ FReepers.
And not much more than a dozen of us at that......
