Texas Republican Sen.Ted Cruz blasted the Obama administrations policy toward Egypt in a scathing op-ed in Foreign Policy magazine, slamming the presidents stance on the Muslim Brotherhood one of the most stunning diplomatic failures in recent memory.
As the Egyptian military ends President Mohamed Morsis rule, Cruz points out that the ire of many people in the streets of Cairo is not reserved for the Muslim Brotherhood alone.
The people protesting in the streets were not only carrying anti-Morsi signs, Cruz writes. They were also carrying signs with slogans like Obama Supports Terrorism and Obama Supports Morsi, as well as pictures of the American ambassador to Egypt, Anne Patterson, with a large red X through her face.

Horse crap. Obamugabe ENABLED the Muslim Brotherhood, turned his back on the reliable ally Mubarak, and stood by applauding the “Arab Spring”, while ALSO earmarking monies—taxpayer monies—for the corrupt Egyptian regime.
Obama and Hillary had PLENTY to do with the chaos in Egypt, and the people on the streets of Cairo know that fact.
“I saw in a photo that stated we are idiots, please bomb us
I agree with the sentiments, but I’m pretty sure that classic was Photo shopped.
Best freshman Senator ever.
He is doing the job the Bonehead should be doing.
Yes they could. Better advice: Take a lesson from Ted Cruz.
You believe Mubarak was good for the United States? Really?
Where do you think Islamic fundamentalism has grown fastest? It is under dictators like Mubarak.
Where have all the fundamentalists originated? Under governments where there is no democracy.
Why is it that some people believe that dictatorship can be a good thing anywhere, as long as we don’t have to live under it?
People will always rebel against oppression as long as there are people.
At some point it should become obvious that we have no control over countries like Egypt other than financially and the countries we often help financially turn on us anyway.
To be more direct, what policy would you advocate the US take in regards to Egypt in order for things to be better for us?
If you have the answer, you owe it to all of us to give it, because no one else has figured it out yet.
Obama s a blathering idiot and we are feeling his idiocy at home, but what is gong on in Egypt is way beyond his or any other American’s control.
The only thing we could do is withdraw financing from all these countries, but that wouldn’t help us, other than saving us the cash.

Absolutely. Thanks Sarah!
Wrong
0dumbo gave great support to Morise and the MB. both millions of OUR money and by agreeing to talks with the MB
he sent the Amb to ask the protestors to stop saying nothing good can come out of that.
Obozo also stood by with his thumb inserted and did nothing to help the closest thing resembling a democracy movement in Iran.
Just like they do in Brazil, Europe, Russia, China, Africa, S.A. etc, etc.
Americans are the only ones stupid enough to believe the lies from the devils in the D of C
Brilliant graphic. Ranks right up there with
Obama, his White house thugs, the Chicago type and Muslim Brotherhood, only have success harming/destroying America and putting our allies and us in danger.
Obozo’s left wing mediots, 24/7, try to make those acts of treason and danger, out to be wonderful acts by a brave man.
The people in Egypt know better and are trying to tell the world, the sordid truth about Herr Obozo.
Can’t you see the White House, sidewalk pimp for Obozo, his hand puppet liar, making a comment like this.
Those pictures are all photo shopped. /s
They always have an excuse, you know.
I’m thinking Palin/Cruz, so we get 16 years of Cruz.
Which agency?
Never mentioned and never seen is a powerful force in Arab politics. That force is the money interest, the businessmen, the industrialists. It is certain that they printed the signs and banners.
They are pardners with the military in the current events and establishment of a new government
Because Islam is not compatible with civilization.
A quote from an 1899 book by Winston Churchill, "The River War", in which he describes Muslims he apparently observed during Kitchener's campaign in the Sudan
How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property - either as a child, a wife, or a concubine - must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.
Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities. Thousands become the brave and loyal soldiers of the Queen; all know how to die; but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science - the science against which it had vainly struggled - the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome.
