Ted Cruz: Obama’s Egypt policy a ‘stunning diplomatic failure’
Daily Caller ^ | 7/3/13 | Brendan Bordelon

Posted on 07/04/2013 6:47:51 AM PDT by SoFloFreeper

Texas Republican Sen.Ted Cruz blasted the Obama administration’s policy toward Egypt in a scathing op-ed in Foreign Policy magazine, slamming the president’s stance on the Muslim Brotherhood “one of the most stunning diplomatic failures in recent memory.”

As the Egyptian military ends President Mohamed Morsi’s rule, Cruz points out that the ire of many people in the streets of Cairo is not reserved for the Muslim Brotherhood alone.

“The people protesting in the streets were not only carrying anti-Morsi signs,” Cruz writes. “They were also carrying signs with slogans like ‘Obama Supports Terrorism’ and ‘Obama Supports Morsi,’ as well as pictures of the American ambassador to Egypt, Anne Patterson, with a large red ‘X’ through her face.”

Thinking of Obama’s Cairo University speech, brings to mind Lincoln’s remark on being introduced to the diminuative Harriet Beecher Stow,“So this is the little lady who started this great war.”.

Obama is an epic failure....

Unless you recall that his overall goal is to destabilize the entire world - then his policies are a resounding success.

I have often wondered which angency is tasked with hiring the operators who come up with banners and signs we see at these protests. It brings to mind one I saw in a photo that stated “we are idiots, please bomb us”.

Nothing bothers the pied piper as he has a jolly good time no matter what the disaster he’s deep in the weeds with.

If we could at least stop the lie that “Islam is the religion of peace”, that would be a start. Also, the Muslim Brotherhood via CIAR are serving as “experts” for the DOD and other agencies on how to befriend Islam. By coincidence, the DOD is now persecuting Christian soldiers and many are calling for it to be a crime to insult Islam.

Michelle Bauchman wanted this all investigated and McStupid stood up on his hind legs in utter outrage that she would dare suggest a racist witch hunt against our good friends, the Muslim Brotherhood. This is treason.

Obama with the assistance of his media sycophants took credit for sparking the Arab Spring, now who is he going to blame for it’s demise into total tumult?

Ironclad: Egypt Involved in Benghazi Attacks

By Shoebat Foundation on June 30, 2013 in Blog, General

By Walid Shoebat, Ben Barrack and Keith Davies

A Libyan intelligence document has been produced that directly implicates Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood president Mohammed Mursi in the attacks on American installations in Benghazi on 9/11/12. Those who attempt to discredit this document run into trouble when it is coupled with real-time video we uncovered on 9/13/12. In that video, gunmen at the scene of the attack can be heard declaring that they were sent by Mursi.

After weeks of attempting to push the narrative that a video was responsible, the Obama administration ultimately had to concede that the attacks in Benghazi were terrorist in nature. A few months after 9/11/12, the top lawyer for the Pentagon stated that the war on terror should be waged by “law enforcement and intelligence agencies”.

Based on the Obama administration’s standard, the Benghazi attacks should be treated as a crime instead of as an act of war. Therefore, let us bring forth the evidence, which implicates the leader of a nation state (Egypt) in the attack and warrants a grand jury (House of Representatives) investigation to decide if administration officials should be indicted (impeached).

Since we’re deciding who to indict, we must look at evidence of involvement in the attack. Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood President – Mohammed Mursi – is a good place to start. Our first two exhibits are both damning but when taken together, may just constitute a ‘smoking gun’. EXHIBIT A is a video shot from a cell phone at the scene of the attacks. In this video, gunmen are seen running toward the camera, toward other gunmen. At one point – in Arabic which we have confirmed – one approaching gunman says, “Don’t Shoot us! We were sent by Mursi!”. Even though the video is in Arabic, you can discern the word “Mursi”.

Obama has less than zero to do with anything going on in Egypt. He is a failure here, but it is of epic stupidity to believe that he or any other American has a scintilla of meaningful influence there.

This is just trying to play to the uninformed people. No matter what Obama did or didn’t do in regards to Egypt, Cruz would be criticizing his actions or inactions.

Not just ‘stunning diplomatic failure’, but stunning economic failure as well... with our hard-earned borrowed-from-our-great-great-great-grandchildren’s tax dollars. Billions in the form or dollars and military equipment in the hands of the mudslime bro’s who God knows how they’d use it...

Frankly, Obama developed his policies with Morsi and Egypt only by using his heart. Naturally, not everyone else is as keen to live under an Islamist dictatorship. Had Obama considered that most people today don’t desire another Iran, especially people who have to live under such oppression, he’d have been with those who welcomed the military readjusting democracy to mean more than one election.
