Today, July 1st, is DAY #16 (of 4th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
Last week the prosecution feebly presented the first series of witnesses against George Zimmerman. However, as most observers would note, the witnesses called by the state have so far been more beneficial for the Zimmerman Self-Defense position.

I'd say Tray had already made up his mind to attack GZ (the pussy-ass cracker (as the shirt said)and played cat and mouse...He had plenty of time to get home.
“When he runs away, my fear changes to concern for what hes doing elsewhere. Since I am carrying, I do get out of the car to ensure that hes not breaking into someones home, destroying someones property, etc.”
But is that what happened??????
When someone can find me a transcript of that interrogation as it pertains to the car I will show you exactly why the jury could be concerned and why O’Mara is working on fixing the issues.
Now, I have to go because it really is pointless until someone can get me a transcript TO SHOW YOU how this played out.
For pete’s sake..there are people posting that he wasn’t afraid in his car..and that just isn’t the case.
Well, I would. So would a very great many men.
If I was prudent enough to feel the fear in the first place. One time I was at a public place and there was a report of a man up front carrying a gun. So what did I do?
Well naturally, I walked up front to see what was going on.
Just the same, Zimmerman followed the suggestion.
And to this very day, you can find press accounts (I think CNN has this up, today), that claim as fact "Zimmerman got out of his truck after he was told not to."
Mis-Post.
Meant for post 1202, Rummy.
Apology for that.
What a day. . .
Well, you might not understand it, but I guarantee there are a lot of females out there who understand that men are capable of being afraid of something and doing it anyway.
Rather than engage you politely, which is my normal reaction, I will just say that I think you are an asshole. You’ll never get a response from me on anything, ever.
Rummy turn it over to MOM He’s in control, knows what he’s doing and will address the issue if serious. You no longer have to worry about it. Put it on the shelf He’s doing a wonderful job and is doing one of the best jobs in his cross exam
BTW. Don’t be surprised if Z was under medical care and his meds caused him to be flat ..... Emotional waves flattened out as in meds for ADHD
Hope many times do I have to say it is the INTERROGATION TAPE THAT IS THE PROBLEM.
The interrogation tape is the tape that Bernie wanted into evidence and asked very few questions about it.
He let it stand on it’s own.
That is WHY O’Mara need to cross examine on this one and not West because my guess is that West would not have been as effective.
I also like to play devils advocate only because I want the defense to diffuse and smother every single unanswered question.....I don't want ANY doubt in the juries mind.....and i look for anything. However, GZ said he did not want to approach or confront TM at all. He did not open his car window for part fear and fear of conflict. When they NonEmergency911 asked him exactly where he was ...GZ has showed himself to be a helpful concerned person who wanted to help. He got out of his car to see if he could find a street name and to see what direction TM went. When he was told he didn't have to follow TM, he still walked to see a street sign/number to help the operator and then he started to go back to his car....but was confronted by Treyvon. THe first time GZ started screaming, TM covering his mouth/nose and GZ said he wigggled away. TM did not have his hands on GZ mouth the whole time....only when GZ started screaming.
The fear remark appears in the Feb 29 interview.
You are off on tangents.
You’re not focusing on the meat of the case:
1. Did GZ fear for his life when he shot TVM?
If the shoe fits,
You must acquit.
At the risk of annoying sleddog, I might suggest as I have already, that YOU shag down that testimony of the taped interview and point out to ME exactly where he claims he in in fear while in his truck.
Stop quoting twittering tweeting twits of wanna be lawyers for heavens sake!
Doesn’t matter.
You can think someone is perfectly rationale and/or thinks a certain and way and then SURPRISE ...the jury convicts.
Why do think lawyers fight so hard over jurors and why there are so many jury consultants.
Lol.
Watch Nancy Grace.
She’ll agree with you.
Oh - sorry. I’m not sure I see any fear in that transcript. Although I know that the few times I have called 911 about suspicious characters in our neighborhood I am nervous. I think just calling the cops is one thing that makes me nervous, plus wondering if the person really is up to no good, and then the fear of losing sight of them.
But you aren't a Neighborhood Watch Person who has a concealed carry license, and has taken the responsibility for monitoring suspicious activity and reporting to the police.
Correct?
Wasn't George simply being responsible and trying to keep track of the suspect until police arrived ?
If he, like you, just sat in his vehicle while the suspect did as he pleased, what would the point be of having a NeighborHood Watch person ?
Thanks. I’m cubicle bound during the day, and I don’t get to hear the stuff as it’s going on. I highly doubt Zimmerman got out of the car while the thug wass “walking around it.” But I probably would if I saw him running away, just to get clear of the car and in a better, less obvious position.
