Today, July 1st, is DAY #16 (of 4th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
Last week the prosecution feebly presented the first series of witnesses against George Zimmerman. However, as most observers would note, the witnesses called by the state have so far been more beneficial for the Zimmerman Self-Defense position.

Wait-—wait—wait. . .you just accused St Travon of challenging George, but now you are saying George didn't want to challenge St Travon.
I am so glad we have real women on FR that can see, understand, think rather than simply emote and play the Perry Mason “gotcha” game. . .you know, where that one piece of rumor or a single sentence throws the whole case.
Have a nice day.
Don't be afraid tonight when it is dark.
I’m a chick. Here’s the difference between you and me in that situation.
While I would choose not to engage TZ, even through a crack in the window, because he had his hand in wasteband. I don’t know if he’s carrying a gun, pepper spray, or skittles.
When he runs away, my “fear” changes to concern for what he’s doing elsewhere. Since I am carrying, I do get out of the car to ensure that he’s not breaking into someone’s home, destroying someone’s property, etc.
So even though GZ said he was afraid of TZ in the car, his fear went away when TZ ran out of sight. Then his NW responsibilities kicked back in.
Really? That's the first I'd heard that. Who said that?
I’m now callin it
you are ignorant
Ay yi yi
The press is despicable.
Thanks, that should help a bit.
I think what RC is referring to is the interview with Serino.
I have a great suggestion. Quit cluttering this thread. AND TAKE YOUR BICKERING TO A PRIVATE CHAT!
Lol. editor-surveyor is one of FR's star birthers. He or she and all of the other birthers have been just making shit up for a long, long time, and they're still here.
It is most definitely about fear.
Remember the statement
about they always get away.
NOT THIS TIME....or so it could play out in a juror members head..
Look, most of you don’t understand why this interroration tape is important and that is okay.
Maybe you will by the end of this.
I was afraid and I only got out of the car after he disappeared to get the name of the street so police would know where to go..when he jumped out at me and attacked me.
VERSUS....
Once someone releases a transcript of that interrogation..read it carefully.
I’m not a Medical Doctor and I didn’t stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night but I suggest you immediately take two aspirn and go to bed and don’t log in tomorrow.
Your incessant posting is making me think FReepers should be given word limits,
per diem.
Even when it was made clear in testimony that the Dispatcher kept asking George questions that required getting out of the vehicle to answer.
The Address (no signs by the van. Had to walk to find the next one)
The location of the suspect. What did the suspect look like. Was the suspect moving. etc.
Thank you very much!
I don't understand your other question, "What does 'challenge' mean to you versus a normal person."
SIGH...
find me a transcript of the interrogation tape with exact words and I will SHOW you why O’Mara needs to fix this and HE KNOWS HE NEEDS TO
And I think he will
because you clearly don’t get it.
Indeed. Well stated, Mr Rogers.
In fact, I suspect most married men have been called upon by their wives to man up and go investigate something that might or might not end up killing them. Lol.
I’m sorry. I forgot to put the (/s). My bad.
Amen!
Btw, that poke kinda stung!
George said it during the re-enactment with police.
Yeah, I would have been too. Every $10 an hour security guard gets afraid when they see someone out of place or acting weird and they know they have an obligation to protect the property they have been charged with protecting.
SO WHAT?
I sometimes have to park my car in bad neighborhoods and I get scared to get out of my car. But I do it anyway. If I cowered in fear rather than faced fear every time I was afraid, I would never have accomplished anything in life.
Jesus H Christ..can none of you understand that OMara better be smart enough to see what the female jury could think about that interrogation tape..
You really are an emotional wreck aren't you. Any defense attorney worth his salt would have made sure you would never get on a jury in a case like this.
O'Mara's cross examination of the Lead Officer made it clear that the police were trying to break Zimmerman and they couldn't do it.
You're problem is that you cannot possibly conceive that a man could not possibly think of getting out of his car at night if he were afraid. That is literally insanity. I would have been afraid too, but if I thought my neighbors were being robbed and I saw a suspect, I would make sure that I kept an eye on him until the police arrived. I would not let my irrational fears prevent me from protecting my neighbors.
If you dont get it..start listening to actual lawyers.. even if you dont agree with them..if they think it..the jury could think it.
I am an actual lawyer and I don't think the jury will think twice about it. The fact of the matter is that in the grand scheme of things in this trial, whether or not George Zimmerman was afraid when he got out of his truck is irrelevant. The overwhelming evidence is that he shot Martin because he was in fear of his life and was in what he believed was a life and death struggle.
If you believe that Zimmerman is guilty of Murder, then tell me what evidence has been presented to this jury of women that will convince them that you are right.
Evidence. Not emotional baggage and irrational thinking. Just point to the evidence of Zimmerman's GUILT.
