If I was afraid in my car - and GZ admitted he was...I would not get out of the car.

But you aren't a Neighborhood Watch Person who has a concealed carry license, and has taken the responsibility for monitoring suspicious activity and reporting to the police.

Correct?

Wasn't George simply being responsible and trying to keep track of the suspect until police arrived ?

If he, like you, just sat in his vehicle while the suspect did as he pleased, what would the point be of having a NeighborHood Watch person ?

Get me a transcript of that interrogation tape and I will tell you in his exact words.

RC, of course you have a point, not sure what I would do. But I think there are several escalating stages. Starting with, a routine call to police about a suspicious person in relation to the security of the neighborhood. GZ realized TM saw him, thus making it personal to GZ safety. Even though at that point he became fearful, he still had the police on the phone and knew they were on their way, giving him some courage. He then exited the vehicle hoping to keep track of him.
