Today, July 1st, is DAY #16 (of 4th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
Last week the prosecution feebly presented the first series of witnesses against George Zimmerman. However, as most observers would note, the witnesses called by the state have so far been more beneficial for the Zimmerman Self-Defense position.

Yeah .. no problem ... years of FR taught me how to grow tough skin.
Some really great work going on here right now.
Finally, some clarity through the dense fog.
Pretty hard to find a better way to leave the jury overnight than with a cop saying he thinks your client was telling the truth.
It’s NOT the wrong answer.
Did you not hear O’Mara talking about the interrogation tape and what GZ said about FEAR while he was in the car.
Right all this smoke about when you’re in fear blah blah, fact is GZ was reporting a suspicious person and got out at a safe distance to see what and where Martin was going go tell the 911 operator. The state has yet to show GZ had malice when he shot TM. They have yet to show he had a depraved mind and got out of his truck with the intention to shoot TM.
That is how a woman thinks. Men have these things that allow them to act despite being afraid.
Very powerful end to today's testimony. Serino states unequivocally: I believed he was telling the truth.
>> the Jury SHOULD consider that tape to determine guilt or innocence.
Simple yes or no question for you: do YOU PERSONALLY think Zimmerman should be convicted, based on the evidence you have observed?
Closed on a real strong point for the defense. Serino said that “we have a tape” response told Serino that Zimmerman was either telling the truth, or he was a pathological liar. O’Mara asked “was there anything in what Zimmerman did or said that made you think he was a pathological liar?” No.
Most all investigators have used that technique a long time now, regarding questions like, “Did you know there was video” or “We understand there might be video, so you better get this right”..
This is done in the hopes of extracting a response from the interviewee or get them to change their story.
Sanford PD is doing a great job for the defense. lol! WFTV legal analyst has a long face. He said now Zimmerman will not be taking the stand and the jury got his testimony on tape from the state!!! hehehehehe!
That sound like a creepy-ass recipe to me.
lol, we know the answer to that one and besides, being armed would temper any fears I may have.
Women make up the jury.
People on this thread have to LISTEN to what is going on..those that keep claiming that GZ never said he was afraid in his car just aren’t paying attention.
That interrogation tape is a problem
Don’t be blind to it and pretend everything is sailing smoothly.
I think GZ should be found not guilty but you can’t discount a female jury wondering about why he got out of the car.
I think Baldo is pretty sure now in his subconscious there is no way in hell he is going to get a murder II. He is using whatever he can to try to leave something out there for the jury to build upon. And if not that, enought so they don’t get sued.
I would not convict him.
But you can’t underestimate a female jury wondering why GZ got out of that car when he said he was afraid.
That's called buffering, not recording. Recording is when the data is put into a retrievable, "permanent" form for storage.
I'm beginning to believe that this was a direct from the top in DC order, down through the Florida State Attorney General, through Corey Booker and a string of other accomplices to force the D.A. and Prosecutor to press charges (by skirting the Grand Jury process) and that BDLR is just putting on the evidence at hand because he has no choice.
So far, the Prosecution has no evidence whatsoever, and the defense is just acknowledging that all testimony points to he did not act with malice, but with self preservation.
I can see a GUILTY verdict coming .
I think you’re clearly racist and it’s bleeding into your thoughts about this case. I see “big black thugs” all the time. Day, night, late night. I’m not in fear of them nor do I run away. And yes, many of them are high.
According to Wikipedia, Libby was acquitted of the charge of giving false statements to the FBI.
Libby was convicted of giving false testimony to a grand jury, where he would have been sworn under oath.
