Today, June 28th, is DAY #15 (of 3rd week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case. [Yesterday] it was simply not a very good day at all for the prosecution. The primary State witnesses today were Rachel Jeantel, Jenna Lauer, and Selma Mora.
The first had her credibility substantively destroyed, the second was powerfullyalmost humiliatinglyco-opted by the defense, and the third provided testimony entirely consistent with the defenses theory of lawful self-defense. (continue reading)

No decent teevee infotainment “reporter” would let the facts get in the way of a good, inflammatory screen banner!
I don’t think so, but the idiot libs are grasping at straws now. How is there “negligence” here?
George wasn’t a fighter. A pudgy fellow who always feared getting too close to those he would follow/report in his Neighborhood Watch duties. If his intent was to shoot and kill Trayvon, no way he picks a fight with him just to risk getting subdued and pummelled so he can have an excuse to shoot him. It’s crazy to even try to understand that.

Sorry to say but like the Kitty Genovese rape, as then, even today most people will not assist to acry for help.
++++++++++++++
Sanford,Fl / Different case, also no help and what was attempted was kept away by threat of a gun.

Sorry JPB, what is this a pic of? I missed the vid :/
In my memory, there are only 2 MMAers that can do damage from the bottom.. and I bet Zimm wouldn’t be anywhere near that capable (no offense to him.. but, you get my meaning)..
For me the question remains what evidence did the prosecution have to pursue this case, I’ve seen nothing yet to justify this prosecution, being initiated.
“even today most people will not assist to acry for help”
I can’t remember where I learned this - but I tell my wife this all the time - if you are ever in trouble don’t yell for help - YELL FIRE!!
I think this was in a college pyche course - People will respond to a fire..
Not watching live. Is this a prosecution or defense witness?
That is Good’s drawing of what he saw that night in stick figure style.
Yes, it would bee helpful, especially for a jury of women, to have someone explain that Martin was in what is called a "full mount," where he has passed the bottom person's legs. This is the most dominant position to be in for ground fighting (having one or both of the bottom person's arms pinned under his own torso or the upper person's knees, a "crucifix" position, is obviously, even more dominant).
This is the position every ground fighter tries to achieve.
Normally, after a takedown, the top person ends up in the "guard" of the bottom person; that is, between his legs. From there, the bottom person can still exert some control on the top person's torso with his legs.
From there, the top person will try to "pass his guard," by getting past the bottom person's legs into what is called "side control," and then throw his leg over the bottom person, straddling his torso, to achieve a "full mount."
Now, even in full mount, the bottom person can clinch the torso of the upper person, making it difficult for him to get the full range of motion required to throw forceful blows. So, when getting full mount, the top person then tries to "posture up," being upright on his knees so he can then throw forceful punches and elbows.
It is probably the most vulnerable position to be in in a fight.
I really want a video of the statement Omara read (John Good) at the end. That says it all in a nutshell......
Thanks.
Even if this were true - and nothing in this testimony would seem to support that conclusion - the fact that GZ may have been able to use his hands to defend himself or roll away, does not mean he was legally obligated to do so before using deadly force. All that is required is that he had a reasonable fear for his life. So far, that fear seems to be well established by the prosecutions's witnesses.
Both BDLR and O’Mara rest with Good saying he didn’t see actual fists hitting flesh. Just arms going down.
Martin was just fanning Z to ensure his comfort.

Or perhaps swiping the raindrops off of Mr Zimmerman’s forehead.
Since I did not see vid (or read info about the situation..), were the jury present for all of this?
Florida set this up, mostly Republicans BTW ???
