“even today most people will not assist to acry for help”
I can’t remember where I learned this - but I tell my wife this all the time - if you are ever in trouble don’t yell for help - YELL FIRE!!
I think this was in a college pyche course - People will respond to a fire..
Especially if you fall into a vat of chocolate.
I give that advice to all who will listen!
I believe that it is linked to the inborn fear of fire by all living things.
