Deandre Poole will return to Florida Atlantic University after being placed on administrative leave.
Florida Atlantic University has reinstated an instructor who had students stomp on pieces of paper with "Jesus" written on them as part of a lesson.
The school announced Friday that 32-year-old Deandre Poole would return to teach summer classes, as well as the next academic year. The Palm Beach Post reports that he will only teach online through the rest of 2013 because of safety concerns. Officials said in March that he would be placed on paid administrative leave for safety reasons and to prevent disruption of the university's activities.
Jesus Stomp Just the Latest Bizarre Teachable Moment News of the lesson earlier this year provoked a strong reaction, including a request by Gov. Rick Scott that university officials investigate.
Poole has previously explained that the point of the lesson was to show the power of words, not denigrate Christianity.

Then, DEANDRE, will have no objection to his photo being blown up and stomped on by a ton of students-—or might that be RACIST?

Some disciplinary measure. I’m sure he is very sorry for his transgression and has vowed to be more open and supportive of Christianity, especially after the serious punishment aassigned him. /s

Sure. And if he had chosen another historical religions figure, prominent in the middle east?
His head would be in one room and his body in another.

If a teacher did something like that he’d have to be fired.

Your tax dollars at work, FL. Would you pay to have that sullen SOB teaching students if you had a choice?

Florida Atlantic, is a public university located in Boca Raton, Florida with five satellite campuses located in the Florida. Mr. Poole is most likely a Socialist.
As a result of his interest in politics, he prides himself in being actively engaged in civic affairs. Currently, Dr. Poole serves as a precinct captain for Precinct 7021 in West Palm Beach, as a club officer for the Together We Stand Democratic Club, and a member of the West Palm Beach Democratic Club. His political activities involve community empowerment, and working with community leaders and elected officials to insure the needs of all people.Remember Sami Amin Al-Arian, the a Palestinian-American civil rights activist? Keep you eye on this man, Deandre Poole, could Mr Poole be a Community Organizer, a Communist?

Right - they can kill us, bring down our buildings but the politicians bend over backwards not to hurt their precious little feelings.

I wonder if a teacher giving a “Mohamed Stomp” lesson would receive the same treatment.

I wonder if a teacher giving a Mohamed Stomp lesson would receive the same treatment. Let's just say they wouldn't be around long enough to be reinstated.

No malicious anti-Christian deed goes unrewarded.
If that's a school funded with taxpayer dollars, someone needs to find an assault lawyer and file a religious discrimination law suit, I'd say.
