Well... then surely his driving history will include repeat DUI offenses.
A responsible employed adult just doesn't go out at 3am while drunk out of his mind and drive down a side street at 100 mph.
Perhaps you might want to check his driving history, or wait to see if the NSA or FBI provide that info before making that assumption.
In the video of the aftermath, there was an open beer bottle laying in the grass in the median, somewhere prior to the final crash into the tree.
The MEDIA made sure they focused on it. Question is... how did it get there ?
Was Hastings drinking ? Heck, we still don't know where he WAS at 3am before he got in the car. Why is that ?
We can't have an autopsy reveal whether he was drinking, because he was burnt to a crisp. (how convenient).
Turn the car off. Burn up the brakes stopping it. Put it in low gear and blow up the transmission.

Video taken from his car’s dashcam also caught what appeared to be Hastings’ Mercedes minutes before the crash, speeding through a red light.
More than 30 seconds pass after Hastings’ car goes by, and no other cars pass through the intersection.
“There’s no cars that are following him,” Lane said. “He flies by and 10 seconds, 20 seconds, 30 seconds goes by… No cars are following him.”
(Associates are rumored to believe he was being chased by a drone - Internet chatter)
I have no idea what happened to Hastings, but you raise a good point -- if people with no DUI history suddenly have a drunken crash, it (at least) raises the question: How did this come about?

All I can find NOW is police car cam footage showing him go by very fast, and then TWO MINUTES LATER the police car starts to pursue, albeit at a very slow speed.
It would appear that something was EDITED OUT of the police cam footage.
Why wouldn't this police car have his emergency lights and siren on, and going a little faster? ? ? ? ? ? ?

I saw several videos showing the burning car. I also saw how they focused on a beer bottle that appeared to me to be a prop. Too well placed, clean, Just stood out too much. There were several videos of it. One had a witness to the incident that said he heard an explosion just prior to crash. I don’t know where I got the links from. But there were several links to videos on this online yesterday on YouTube.
