Zimmerman’s jury is 100 percent women and 0 percent African-American.
This jury needed at least one African-American jury member, and one male. The selected panel can certainly be “impartial,” but because previous racially charged trials focused on the jury, the Zimmerman trial attorneys should have been aware of how the make-up could impact responses outside of the courtroom and, potentially, to the safety of the jurors.
The George Zimmerman prosecution and defense teams should have considered the potential for such a response in this case, because race was at issue from the outset.
This case should not be about race, but the attorneys’ failure to pick a more diverse group of six people is certain to reignite the issue, especially if the 100 percent all-female/non-African-American jury finds Mr. Zimmerman not guilty.

What you say is insensitive but 100% correct.
There was a good reason that the Sanford cops turned Zimmerman loose the first time: because all the evidence pointed to self-defense.
I think that’s probably the situation - they couldn’t find one single impartial black person to stay on the jury.
They’re trying to do with this jury what they’ve done to every tv commercial- put a black in it. Why break with tradition now?
Keeping the lid on may be difficult. Why doesn't she just release the verdict one letter per hour... "G" tic toc tic toc.... "U" tic toc tic toc...
The lowinfo's will only have a foggy notion of the result till the last letter, perhaps 10 hours later, and that public the way it is, the verdict realization will be staggered.
They say Trayvon was screaming “I’m begging you” on the tape and that it implicates Rodriguez, but what if Trayvon screamed it AFTER he had been shot? Instead of “begging” not to be shot, he could have been begging for help saving his life.
Hey now ... watch it, buster!!! Maybe they will be responsible, sober, mature, older women with life experience who have listened carefully to all the testimony ... and have not dented the car while trying to park it in the courthouse lot.

That's just what we want you to think.
Because the claims of what was said on that tape don’t pass the laugh test, and Zimmerman’s expert witness will say so. There’s no proof, and no real reason to believe, that Martin ever screamed anything. And no reason to believe the prosecution’s credential-free “expert” when he says he can hear, or get a computer to detect with substantial probability, and articulated speech in those screams.
Holding the verdict will signal a Not Guilty verdict and will trigger the riots. "Protestors" won't wait 5 minutes.

As I recall from hearing the tape several times, all the screaming preceded the gun shot.

Or they didn't want to be on the jury. Imagine what their life would be like if they voted to acquit.
If Zimmerman is found guilty, on what grounds would he appeal? If they were all black, he might, except that both sides have challenges, and the prosecution could have challenged the makeup of the jury during voi deir (sp?) This is supposed to be a jury of Zimmerman’s peers, not Martin’s.
