Zimmerman’s jury is 100 percent women and 0 percent African-American.
This jury needed at least one African-American jury member, and one male. The selected panel can certainly be “impartial,” but because previous racially charged trials focused on the jury, the Zimmerman trial attorneys should have been aware of how the make-up could impact responses outside of the courtroom and, potentially, to the safety of the jurors.
The George Zimmerman prosecution and defense teams should have considered the potential for such a response in this case, because race was at issue from the outset.
This case should not be about race, but the attorneys’ failure to pick a more diverse group of six people is certain to reignite the issue, especially if the 100 percent all-female/non-African-American jury finds Mr. Zimmerman not guilty.

No matter the verdict, the jury makeup will be the talk of the trial while on-going, and the focus of too many talking heads for years to come .. ala Simpson.
The job of the defense is to get their client off, not to assuage racists.

I suspect the prosecution let this happen knowing that their case was weak. They might want to be able to scapegoat the jury after an acquittal.
How do you do *that*? Presumably the defense agreed to these jurors.Ineffective legal counsel might be a more effective avenue of appeal.As might the empaneling of a six member jury instead of twelve.
In that case we need white riots if he is convicted. It's only fair.
But to expand a bit, our white riots would not damage property or injure people (unless they attack us).

Can anyone imagine 6 women locked in a room for an extended period of time to fulfill a purpose? This is going to be a nightmare.

It’s amazing they ended up with an all female jury with no blacks. It could be that all the blacks, male or female, and maybe all the males of any group, came across as holding some prejudicial attitudes concerning the racial element of the case, or the right to self-defense, to an extent that none of them seem capable of objectivity.
But we’ll definitely hear a lot about the makeup of the jury from here on.
