If all had gone according to plan, Americans would have learned in 25 years that President Barack Obama once a liberal constitutional law professor authorized a top-secret National Security Agency program to monitor the logs of their phone calls.
The court order allowing the government to inspect all Verizon phone records was slated to be declassified on April 12, 2038, when todays political leaders had passed from the stage and were beyond political accountability. Until then, American citizens were supposed to have no way of knowing that the NSA knew when they were good (phoning Grandma for six minutes on her birthday) and when they were bad (arranging an adulterous rendezvous with a 19-minute call to an ex-girlfriend from the office).
Instead, in a major rebuke to Obamas reputation as a purported defender of civil liberties, the Guardian, the British newspaper, published a top-secret court order Wednesday night that requires Verizon to provide the NSA with access to all of its phone logs. In one of the more chilling passages in the four-page document, Verizon is not allowed to disclose to any other person that the FBI or NSA has sought or obtained tangible things under this Order.
This was the ultimate expression of the doctrine of dont ask, dont tell.
Overnight, the Obama national security team toiled to write talking points for the press, because that damage control strategy worked so well with the news media after Benghazi. While no administration officials commenting on the Guardian story would allow their names to be used (ssshhh, top-secret operation), their responses followed a similar script.

I thought he talked like Mao and governed like Mickey Mouse!
because he’s an alien lizard from hell.
Obama was NEVER a Constitutional law professor.
Who fact checks these articles?
He ... uhh ... ummm ... he ... you know ... ummm ... talks like ... ummm ... well, I don’t know ... but ... he ... uhhhh ... governs like ... Valerie Jarrett.
If he were like Cheney that would be several steps above his current paygrade.
“””Obama was NEVER a Constitutional law professor.
Who fact checks these articles?”””
We don’t need no stinkin’ facts.
If he ONLY governed like Cheney...either Dick or Lynn.
I wish I could find humor or insight in these kind of ephemeral, sophisticated “thought exercises” but there’s just too much damned destruction going on. So I will supply one of my own:
“Does this blood spurting from my jugular vein remind you more of cheap port or the color of the tie color of the last insurance salesman you talked to?”
constitutional law professor, mmmmmm what he did two classes didn;t he and if he is so good then why does he not release his grades and come clean about his past then
And we’ve reached the “Why?” phase.
He doen’t
Dick Cheney?
Try Joe Stalin.
“Does this blood spurting from my jugular vein remind you more of cheap port or the color of the tie of the last insurance salesman you talked to?”
It reminds me of the millions whose blood was shed because they did not think deeply enough about their leadership—who he really was, where he came from, and where he was going. That includes us.
Obama is a double-talking Muslim/Marxist traitor who dares not talk w/o teleprompters lest he betray himself and his handlers to those who think he is a god. The rest of the world has already figured him out. Too bad the materialistic 51% and the indoctrinated youth here cannot see the truth.
Ron Paul, Dick Cheney...
Is this a commentary on Obama, or a study of the actions of a reporter on acid?
Why call oneself a journalist when one is constantly trying to spin actual news into Pubbie-bashing agitprop?
Thanks grundle.
Thanks
