Former Florida governor Jeb Bush (R) argued Wednesday that the United States should pass immigration reform because the U.S. economy needs the labor of young immigrants, and immigrants are “more fertile.”
“Immigrants create far more businesses than native-born Americans,” Bush said at the Faith and Freedom Coalition’s Road to the Majority conference. “Immigrants are more fertile, and they love families, and they have more intact families, and they bring a younger population. Immigrants create an engine of economic prosperity.”
Bush said immigrants are an advantage that the United States has over China, Europe and Japan, which don’t have the same immigrant tradition and are struggling to find young laborers.
“If we don’t do it, we will be in decline, because the productivity of this country is dependent upon young people that are equipped to be able to work hard,” Bush said.
Bush, whose wife is a Mexican-born immigrant, has long been an advocate for comprehensive immigration reform.

Friend you have your opinions of GW Bush and I have mine. I voted for him twice. In the beginning I liked the guy and supported him. In the end, I was glad his time was up. I have never voted for a dimocrat. And never will. That does not mean I will vote for these stinking RINOs. They are no different than a socialist dimocrat in my opinion. McCain? He is a republican. What good is he? None in my opinion. You can do as you please. And so will I.
I think you are right about credit cards bringing America to ruin. That along with contraceptive pills, poor quality television, obsession with sports, desire for expensive homes and automobiles, often poor quality sermons from the pulpit, de-emphasis of spiritual hymns, it’s an endless list.

They aren’t mutually exclusive factors. The family situation only feeds into the “we’re all one big happy global family” illusion. Some of these globalist people really aren’t malevolent so much as disconnected from middle class realities and naive about the long-term consequences.
I think I’ll take up my uncle’s offer to help him run his farm in South Africa before I sit through yet another Bush presidency. 12 years of the Bushes is more than enough.
PS-— I know nothing about farming and South Africa is a dangerous place headed toward a vicious civil war.
He makes a good point though it is a stupid one especially to be used for justification of the horrid immigration bill. However he is right on the money on the issue of low native population fertility and I’ve emphasized it myself but there is a very easy fix to the demographic problem we are facing. Its called reproduction. If you are conservative the best thing you can do for your country is have at least 4 kids minimum and then make sure you are raising them to be conservatives whether by homeschooling or sending them to private schools or making sure you are in a conservative dominated public school district if you can find one.
Its simply reality and its really a choice of whether you are going to be spending more $ raising patriotic kids more likely to share your values or are you going to be increasingly marginalized politically and forced to pay more for kids which are not your own who the left will make certain they never share your values.
I have 6 kids +1 a niece I have custody of. Though I didn’t initially plan to have so many I’m glad I did and those who think it is hard really overstate the case and are often simply assuming a ‘neo liberal’ perspective that $=success. What else would I spend my salary on? I could spend it on newer cars and a fancier house and more crap I don’t really need while my nation is reproduced out from under me by neo-socialist savages.My kids may never go to the best liberal schools but they will never be on the dole and will be well educated they will have a self confidence and presence of mind that will make them successes regardless of where they find themselves.

I understand perfectly. They are social architects who firmly believe they know better than we, what is best for the masses. The bushes are the very same mentality as, for example, the british parliament.
But in the final analysis every one of them knows they have the money and the resources to protect themselves in case the experiment goes south. They're not malevolent as much as they are reckless. And the working class American citizen is the one who pays the price.
I love how no one wants to look at the underlying causes of “low fertility” amongst Western males. Can you say “family” court and the militantly pro feminist divorce industry?
If you choose to breed with a Western female, said female can get “bored,” have an affair, divorce daddy, get sole custody of the child(ren), take his wallet and pretty much life earnings for 21 years then alienate the child(ren) from dad should he “dare” to move on. As soon as the Hispanice population catches on to the “rules” then they too will become “less family oriented.” At least in China they are penalizing single parent (mom) hood.
You'll be glad to know that my wife and I have had four kids, and that they're all home schooled. We like to think that we're planting seeds that will spring forth into multiple generations of staunchly conservative patriots.
Today is my 60th birthday. Nothing would please me more than to know that on my 80th birthday, I'll be surrounded by a huge group of newly minted, patriotic Americans who all share the ideals of the Founding Generation.
When immigrants cannot or will not assimilate, its really just an invasion. Throw them out!

He did with his own family what they are now pushing to do with our nations, and you don’t see that creating a potential giant blind spot for Jeb and his family? If you don’t think it’s a factor in the Bush family’s inordinate fondness for our neighbor to the south, I don’t know how to help you. You’re not being honest about this. It’s a damn sight different than the old “Thomas is a race traitor” slur and you ought to be able to see it. I don’t want someone with familial ties to Mexico trying to exercise influence over this issue. We need to look at the immigration issue with a cold focus on the interests of Americans.
