I deeply appreciate that day in and day out Mark Levin takes on the Republican establishment. I'm encouraged that he has called out Paul Ryan and others for their disingenuous support of this 1000+ page immigration bill.
It is far past time he call out Marco Rubio, who it he face of this bill. I think if he is going to be sincere on this issue, he needs to highlight the main reason this bill has a chance of becoming law, and that reason is Marco Rubio.
I seriously need to catch up on Levin. Only hearing about half an hour of Rush if I’m lucky.
Both are intelligent and seriously give a damn about the Country. I respect them both.
I’m fortunate to have my own business and be in my car a lot. So I get to listen to Rush and Levin just about every day. Those guys are simply great, and my appreciation for what they do grows daily. That’s why it’s easy for me to tell who actually listens to them, and why I jump (sometimes rabidly!) to their defense.

I hear ya’. My AM car radio days date back to Bob Grant in the 80s. One of my favorite lines from Grant: “Your tennis shoes are tied too tight!” A line he would deliver after someone’s grandma would scold him for one thing or another.
Rush and Levin might well be against the bill, but until they denounce Rubio’s lying, it won’t have legs. They need to seriously give this bill legs or we will lose our nation in the process. They have a powerful voice that needs to do this and fast.
I’ll tell you one thing, if I had a friend doing what Rubio is doing, I would denounce him until he was drummed out of the running for anything, including dog catcher. His betrayal would not sit well with me.
Rubio is the voice of this bill. He will destroy our nation. He needs to be called out on it. They’ve all gone out of their way to give Rubio hours upon hours of free airtime. They need to put this nation first and condemn that voice.
I loved Bob Grant.
“It’s sick out there and getting sicker.”
Believe it or not, I used to enjoy Ed Koch’s show on WABC, too.
(Of course, when I was a kid I listened to Cousin Brucie on WABC - - Gads, I am freaking old.)
>>>Mark Levin said he cannot support this bill after looking at it even though he had Rubio on his show explaining it many weeks ago.<<<
Correct. So what if he doesn’t slime Rubio personally? He also called for a Levin surge against the bill. Sheesh.
Absolutely true. Rubio has betrayed the Conservative cause.
Michelle Malkin was on Fox News yesterday cheer leading Obama and spying on US citizens....whining about Snowden.....Obama Supporter again like she was on the Eligibility issue (attacking Sherrif Arpaio and the Cold Case Posse).
Heck I think Evegeny Malkin is more American now than Michelle
The GOP media is no friend to Conservative Americans
Mark’s finally seen the light on Rubio over the past two days. He’s been taking shots at him on his Facebook page finally. I think the Univision interview, where Rubio is caught talking out of the other side of his mouth, is what did it.
The big sit-down with Boehner is today.
Agreed. And in fact, Mark was actually cutting off callers a couple of weeks ago who were taking him to task about Rubio.
No, Norm’s right. I heard Mark myself covering for his buddy Rubio, and there are in fact some threads from a couple of weeks ago about him dropping callers who were complaining about the RINO.
Mark Levin interviews Senator Marco Rubio. "He is the real deal."
The thing is though that when Mark delivers a blistering tongue lashing on certain wobbly Republican congress critters, he usually gets immediate results. Case in point:
Mark Levin: Fascist GOP congressman is trying to have his show pulled off air
However, when he either goes quiet or pulls his punches, it tends to have the opposite affect, and people who typically fear him and his influence, actually are emboldened (like Rubio), thus making him a sort of enabler for this kind of thing.
Yeah, the ABO crowd. Whatever happened to them?
After the last election I decided to scale back on my talk radio listening. Now while I am driving, I have the radio off. I basically want it quiet hoping that God will speak to me and ease my anxiousness.
I have come to the conclusion that I think many before have come to and some on this thread have stated. None of them can be trusted. From the talking heads - Rush, Hannity, Levin, Ingraham, Beck, O'Reilly, et al - to the established politicians to those running to get into the game. Maybe Cruz is legit - maybe. I'm reading more scripture, praying more than I have in the past - though not enough, going to Mass more, buying more ammo, stocking up. I am not one of those who thought it would never happen in the United States. I was just hopping it would not happen while I was alive.
I believe the power resides in us. We need to learn how to be couragous and speak out against the evil that men do. And it is hard. We think about our families, jobs, hobbies, things we own, our leisures. All that is going to disappear eventually but we just do not want to let it go right now. We need to make those in power fear us but I just do not know how to make that happen.
My two cents.
I agree with other posters that they should've a.) slammed the bill sooner, rather than later (both Rush and Mark had Rube-io on their shows to lie about/sell this bill...neither came down hard enough, initially, against this) and b.) call out Rube-io for supporting this monster AND for lying on their shows about the securing the border first meme. (Rush has somewhat danced around it by playing the Rube's clips...but won't call him a liar.)
I heard Mark call Lyin' Paul Ryan - and the Pubbie Senators who voted Yea on this to move forward - a "disappointment", but when Mark got to Rube-io's name he said nothing. I had really hoped that at the very least Mark would've also called MarcoPhone a disappointment, but he didn't.
We've been betrayed by Rube-io and he gets a pass from Rush and Mark :(
Most came to realize replacing a Dem lib with an R lib would only further pollute the gene pool. Thank God. A smaller number are still bitter but in hindsight seem to accept it wasn’t such a great idea.
Lastly, there remains a core of fanatics that follow myself and several others who refused to bend. We are sworn at on threads and via freepmail, called Obama supporters, derided as the cause of all evil in the world and hammered relentlessly with the same types of tried and untrue GOP talking points now being used to drum up support for Rubio/Bhoner and the GOPe.
My ‘lesser evil’ comments seem to attract them like flies. And as always, not a single one in 8 months will explain to me how it is that you get less evil by willingly electing more of it to positions of power.
They scream, type in caps, have tantrums and repeat the above mentioned behavior over and over. One has taken to the very adult and debate winning tactic of posting a Yosemitie Sam pic and thinking that I will somehow capitulate to such skillful debating.
Just check my post history every few days for updates. You’ll find plenty of plenty of entertainment from the gang that can’t find a clue.
