Dem. Congressman on IRS Scandal: 'The Case Is Solved' "Wrap this case up and move on." Daniel Halper June 9, 2013 10:20 AM
Democratic congressman Elijah Cummings says the case of the IRS scandal has been "solved."
"Based on everything I've seen, the case is solved," said Cummings in response to a question on the topic. "And if it were me, I would wrap this case up and move on."
How many Americans are actually so snowed as to believe that all of these “scandals” are manufactured to divert attention away from the treasonous scandal of Benghazi? Everything released up to this point has been “controllable.” Benghazi is the only event with a truly variable unknown or “X-factor” wherein foreign entities played a role.
This is all a smokescreen, and we need to keep the heat on over Benghazi. That’s the golden egg right now.
A assertion supported by two flimsy premises.
“Based on what I’ve seen” >> You ain’t been paying attention then.
“If I were in charge” >> Thank God you are not.
It means that its getting closer and closer to the WH and high democrat officials and Elijah, like a true sycophant wants to shut it down
Elijah wants the investigation stopped before it gets too close to him!
Sorry Congressman Cummings, but you are a racist, lying, POS; Obama needs to be spending time in Federal Prison for what he's done in these scandals.
Sadly, John Boner and his girldfriend Erica Cantor still fear POS like Cummings.
Translation:
Yep, the murder took place.
Now it’s time end the investigation.
Perp? Oh nevermind...
Conviction? Not necessary!
Sentence carried out? Are you kidding?
Next thing you know, the Dems will start running rocks for office. Way more qualified, and far less offensive.
I think the snooping stuff is the smoke screen. Many of us knew that it had been going on for years through a variety of programs. It is hopelessly complex and will fry the brains of most people trying to understand it. People will get scandal fatigue and just tune out the real administration abuses.
How about a nice big cup of . . Think before you open your stupid mouth.
Enough of this. Time to roll
Spread it fast, spread it often. It will make these leeches apoplectic
It may have been intended as a smokescreen, but that "smoke grenade" may have started a real fire. Lots of people are pissed and the usual kabuki theater (the investigations w/o any punishment, ala Fast & Furious) simply won't be enough.
It is hopelessly complex and will fry the brains of most people trying to understand it. People will get scandal fatigue and just tune out the real administration abuses.
Not really - the snooping a is dead simple blatant violation of the 4th Amendment; whereas Benghazi was/is the stuff of conspiracy-theories and political thriller/suspense movies and thus has some complexity to it.
They’ve sold their souls, if they had one, to Satan, IMO.
In Real-time Strategy gaming, its called a Zerg Rush. Its just taking everything you have and throwing it at the opponent (us). In the real-world, its bad strategy because the theater is bigger than the battlefield, no one can handle real casualty rates like that, and you don’t commit all your reserves in one giant offensive.
But, that’s what they’re doing. Throwing it all at us at one time knowing that they’ll burn through our defenses and win. After the win, they’ll worry about whatever comes next.
Last I checked, having a top IRS official take the Fifth is hardly an indication that much of anything is solved. But the left-wing dog-whistle words have been uttered - “move on”.
I can multitask.
Yeh I’ll bet he would love to move along. Before they tie this whole thing directly to Barry.
Yeah, I’m damn tired of the idiots who are trying to manipulate the public by declaring one scandal to be more important than another.
Anyone who thinks domestic spying and using federal agencies to target political opposition is any less important than Benghazi is an idiot.
His comments mean that this is only the tip of the iceberg. The closer we get to the truth the more they will obfuscate.
