When a politician talks too much, that means they are in trouble. Serious trouble. Jay Carney’s song and dance yesterday was the most pathetic thing I’ve ever witnessed.

Well written. That’s exactly what’s going on. He is tryong to nudge approval ratings. Expect all sorts of things like this as he wants to appear he is doing the people’s business etc.

That is a simplistic view - the speech is serious in that he signed orders changing the way the military will operate overseas.

I’ve been thinking that the drone that was allegedly monitoring Benghazi was sending firing intel to the enemy mortars.
It will be interesting to look closely at the phrasing of this speech.

Also, it is meant to manipulate and soothe those who voted for him but are concerned about the recent scandals and, in general, trying to get in front of this scandalgate which is growing beyond their control.
