The Conservative Hispanic Society has joined the growing list of conservative groups that feel that they, too, were targeted by the Internal Revenue Service in its recent campaign of harassment. In a statement, CHS is "expressing outrage" over what it feels is Obama's "infiltration of every aspect of our government."
In a statement the Conservative Hispanic Society, a group that represents "traditional Hispanic values," expressed its outrage at the Obama administrations targeting of conservative Hispanic groups.
CHS feels that they've been targeted for a slowed down approval process.
"In fact, we too may have been victims of the IRS. CHS applied for 501(c)(4) status back in 2010. We've not received word from the IRS yet on that application," CHS says in its statement.
"It seems the Obama political machine has infiltrated every aspect of our government. Politics now dictates our response to terrorist attacks. And now the IRS is being used as a weapon to punish people our president has referred to as his 'enemies'," said Chris Salcedo, Executive Director of CHS.
CHS President Steve Navarre also expressed his outrage, saying, "Through the Constitution, our nation's founding fathers tried to guard against elected leaders using the power of government to oppress the people. The type of government overreach displayed by the IRS brings to life our founders deepest fears."
CHS reminded President Obama that he and those that serve under him that "we are a people with a government, not the other way around."
"President Obama has lost the trust of the American people with the rash of scandals that his management style has brought upon our nation," CHS said. "This latest abuse of power by the Obama administration will not go unanswered. "

This might leave a mark.
This is how its done in Chicago and other Marxist areas.
Has Soros/Rubio commented yet?
The Senate and Finance hearing on IRS & teaparty targeting starts at 10am Eastern - CSPAN3
What are those? Is that the same as 'conservative values'? Is it different from Western/white values? I thought race was a non factor in today's America?
I was telling someone here on the forums awhile back that there is a large segment of the Hispanic population that are conservative and churchgoing folks that despise Obama. They’re not the illegals. They’re the ones that have lived here for decades that speak English, work hard, and take care of their homes, pay taxes, and are patriotic. They alone could turn the elections around and would be a great asset if they joined the Tea Party movement to turn this nation around. If anything else, these dire times have proven that there are patriots and respectable people of every race. The DemoRats have made everything about race the past 5 years to divide us. Let the good people of all races join together to overcome the evil forces in our government right now.
“..This might leave a mark...”
I hope our numbers grow!!
I hope this opens eyes.
I agree!! Good Point!
If anybody has a link to web coverage of this, could you please post it ASAP. The c-span website mentions it but I could not find an online link.
In Obama’s mind, they’re doubly to be destroyed. Hispanic and conservative all in one title? Off with their heads.

Right now its a replay of yesterday’s White house briefing.
I often wondered why legal Mexican citizens never complained about the immigration and those people taking their jobs and vote conservatively. Then I realized that they, like blacks, will vote by race and not any beliefs.
I also heard a story the other day, I think it was Rush or some other radio show, that Mexicans only make up 7% of the voting block. NObama carried 72% of them. They worked the model and keeping all things even Romney would have had to have gotten 75% of that 7% block to win the electorial college. This is the fallacy of the meme about worrying that hispanics hate Republicans. It doesn’t matter they don’t have the voting block. It is stupid middle class, white voters that either stayed home or voted for NObama or libertarian that lost the election.
“Traditional Hispanic Values” are basically Catholic moral teaching (anti-abortion, anti-homosexuality, etc.) combined with an emphasis on entrepreneurial activity in the economic world. Not much different from most other conservative groups, perhaps, but remember that this organization is intended to try to get people who identify culturally as Hispanics interested in expressing these values in a political way, so it’s got to say something attractive to them.
With all the animosity Hispanics get in some conservative circles, I fully understand why they’d need to do this in order to overcome the perception that conservatives hate Hispanics. This is why the Dems are so threatened by groups like this.
Inaccurate - COMMUNISTS have infiltrated every aspect of our government over the past 6 decades, and Obama as president and Holder as AG have allowed them to operate openly and execute their plans.
Much obliged. It looks like they’ve just started with opening remarks.
Hope it’s just not a bunch of Senators asking the same questions to the same guys and getting the same non-answers.
Except they are using their ethnicity as the selling point and they also want separate group i.e. the Hispanic Caucus or the Republican National Hispanic Assembly for example. Their ethnicity is prominent not their 'conservative values'.
> It is stupid middle class, white voters that either stayed home or voted for NObama
I can’t disagree. I know of plenty of white naive liberals that voted for him. They believed every word he said at all of his appearances because they lack wisdom and discernment and trust in what people say instead of what they do. I believe you are right in tour assessment.
No, but they’re doing it in response to a lot of hostility directed against Hispanics by conservatives, who seem to think of them all as illegal aliens. Bloc voting has always been exploited by the Dems, and the only way to break up that bloc (because once people think of themselves as being part of a particular voting bloc, they cease to think about the issues and only vote with their bloc) is to create a sort of mini-bloc so that people from a targeted group can identify with it and perhaps be attracted away from the Dems. We need voters!!! We need a fraud-proof margin.
