There’s an interesting idea.
Recently when this issue was being discussed, I saw someone say that Mark Levin, who wants Cruz to run, is just another guy who wants to destroy the Constitution.
Yes, that Mark Levin....the Constitutional scholar/lawyer who fights FOR the Constitution via his Landmark Legal Foundation, LOL.
As long as a Republican representative signs his eligibility form...just like Nancy Pelosi signed Obama’s.
With the exception that Hitlery has this recurring ability to let her arrogance to pull the trigger while the gun is still in her holster. (bullet meet foot) Instead Palin aims, fires and scores a bulls-eye every time.
This means Barack Ubama is not a natural born citizen, and is therefore not eligible.
The precedent, however, has been set.
Ted Cruz is not a natural born citizen, but that requirement has now been discarded.
Walker/Cruz ‘16.
I agree that Cruz is doing an excellent job where he is, but getting some executive experience under his belt would help pad his resume’
Per the 1952 INA rules for babies born out-of-country to a citizen mom married to a non citizen dad, the mom had to live in the us for 10 yrs, with 5 of those years past the age of 14.
So minimum age for the mom is 19.
Problem is, 0’s mom was 18 and some months old when 0 was born, not old enough to convey citizenship to 0.
(Then you have the British nationality rules which governed 0’s nationality on account of his dad; gave him British citizenship.)
So 0 isn’t a citizen of the us.
Now look at Cruz, how old was his us citizen mom when he was born?
And how long were his folks living in Canada before he was born?
Looking at his folks marriage certificate will help deduce these.
But if I recall what is on that certificate correctly, cruz’ mom was twentysomething or older when she got married to his dad.
Apply the 1952 rules and we see that she lived 10 years in the us, 5 of them past 14 years old; so she was more than 19 years old when Cruz was born.
And figuring that any later INA rules may have shortened the residency length requirements, then his mom could convey citizenship.
BUT (and there’s the rub)
Look at what the judge said in the court case Minor vs. Happersett: (paraphrased)
“As to natural born citizenship there is no doubt in this case: a baby born in the u.s. to two citizen parents, but there are doubts as to the other cases where one parent isn’t a citizen.”
Interesting that at around 2007 and some time afterward, the links/references to this court case were not accessible in justia.com web site.
2009 tax form released by him didn’t have the number properly hidden... a PDF expert uncovered the number and voila’
More info at post #48.
So sad but true.
Good, I hope he runs.
“How did people get his Social Security number? That is pretty scary that people can get a person social security number so easily.”
This has been going on for so many years, I don’t remember how the SS number was revealed. It belonged to a deceased person who lived in a northeastern state and Hussein never lived there. That’s why I say Hussein’s whole life is a fake.
I love Palin as much as you do. But to be blunt, Cruz is far more eloquent speaker and much better on his feet. He has been in Texas politics for a while and is no newbie.
Alas...if only Palin had a less shrill high pitched voice and a speech delivery like Rand Paul or Cruz, she would be the president.
LMAO at your comment. Those foreign born conservatives include me too!
Although, I'll take Cruz' expertise AND experience, to date, over what we have in the WH now.
Nice mythos. Wish it were true. Sarah will not allow the elite bankers to attach their strings to her, so she will never be President.
They have repeatedly attacked anyone who brings up Obama Eligibility... and claim that “birth announcements in newspapers” are proof Obama is born in Hawaii (Bill O’Reilly... repeated many times on his show).
Anyone attacking the Obama Eligibility folks, and using BS information...is nothing more than an Obama Supporter.
I am sick and tired of PhonyCons twisting the law and Constitution to justify their liberal means. And, I bet you will be one of the ones attacking Ted Cruz because “Fox News said so”.
Ditto Cruz running for governor of Texas.
