We’ve been paying that and more here in California for over a year.
Demand is low and supplies are high. Price gouging. Now here come the free market Nazis to tell me how wrong I am.
Price gouging of all of the homos that will be coming there to get “married”.
It wasn’t overnight. It went up 25 cents per gallon on my lunch hour today.
This is part of what happens when Environazis don’t allow construction of a new refinery in the United States for forty years.
I drove by a gas station this afternoon and though “My god it’s over 4$( 4.05)”. Half hour later I drove by the same station ( $4.25)
I went to get gas at Sam’s Club and the cars were lined up. It was $3.999/gal across the street at both stations, SuperAmerica and Kwik Trip, but Sam’s was $3.819.
“What’s going on here?”
Conservatives are conspiring against liberal sh*thole states and making them suffer. Patriots pay less for gas than fascists. Deal with it.
Next question...
Minnesota liberals must be rejoicing as gas prices are going up to European levels, Governor Dayton and the DFL Legislature are raising taxes and gay marriage is now legalized. Surely this will create a socialist utopia.
I just paid $4.05/gal for premium in Des Moines, Iowa.

Find the cheapest gasoline prices in your area. Don’t know what is driving the prices up in MN.
Be careful what you ask for as you may get exactly what you asked for!!!!!! You wanted communism, you got communism.
My guess: Environmental regs passed by the usual suspects forcing refineries to change their “blends” for the summer season producing a temporary shortage.
Summer blends must be coming out. You always pay more when they switch blends. Where i live they mandate ethanol garbage and emissions testing so we always pay more when they switch.
man: “My Wife asked me to get her somethign really expensive for her birthday this year- So I went out and bought her a gallon of gasoline”
I’ve been paying that for over a year as well in Chicago suburbs. boutique fuels.
This is a picture of my 2012 Honda Fit shortly after I bought my car in December 2011. I get about 39 mpg on the freeway.
Cheaper here
3.05
Sure, but Steve and Andy can get married now so that’s all that matters.
In 1999 I paid $.99/gal in Rockville, MD. Sigh. Why voters don’t demand cheaper energy, let alone a national energy policy is beyond me. So foolish.
