When you think about it the Scout Oath and the Scout Law embodies the NCO/Warrant Officer Code.

I’m gonna make it...and sorry that you’re tired. You must
have had a long day!

I haven’t heard from her, but assume that Kathy has. :) I do
know she’s very busy, as usual! I’m looking forward to seeing
her and the others soon.

Indeed it does - along with a host of other precepts central to Western Civilization that we hold near and dear - and all of which are under concerted attack by the Regime presently in power. I would say "in control", but the head professes no knowledge of what the tail, along with the other parts, are doing.

All this Nation needs to do is to return to the tenets that made it great - we all know where to find them - the Bible, The Constitution, and, among many other things, the Boy Scout's Code.

"Riamh nár dhruid ó sbairn lann!"

Genuflectimus non ad principem sed ad Principem Pacis!

Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)

As of Monday she was packing, packing, and packing. She’s excited for the shoot, and then getting to see her boys and her grands.

She is exhausted, but excited!

We had some storms here yesterday afternoon. Wasn't able to take Bo out to the lake yesterday because of the storms but did get some much needed rainfall.

Supposed to clear up today. Planning on taking Bo out to the lake later.

SOUP FOR THE TROOPS

WELCOME TO THE

(where our troops, allies and their families can refresh themselves)

Good morning, Everyone.
Good morning to our

Military, our Allies, and their families.

Thank you, Ma, for preparing the Canteen for today's activities

DC METROLAND WEATHER

~ Today...Partial cloudiness early,
with scattered showers and thunderstorms
during the afternoon.
Warm. High 84F. Winds W at 5 to 10 mph.
Chance of rain 40%

~ Tonight...A stray thunderstorm is possible
through the evening. A few clouds.
Low 61F. Winds NW at 5 to 10 mph.

Making Z Zoup
A cup of this...a teaspoon of that...

The first log cabins in North America
were built in 1683 by Swedish immigrants in Delaware.

Originally a palace,
the Louvre was made into a museum after
the French Revolution.

Mead, a wine made from honey,
is the national drink of Poland.

The dense globules of gas from which stars are born
are much larger than the stars they will form.
In the Orion nebula, globules have been detected
which are 500 times larger
than the solar system.
(whatever the heck that means (rolling eyes))

Only full-grown male crickets can chirp.

Toads eat only moving prey.

The FR Canteen is ALWAYS

Come in, sit down.
Grab a cup of joe, or tasty tea.
Mingle a bit, chat with the troops
or family member. There's always plenty of conversation,
silliness,
and plain old BS in the FR Canteen.
