Great news! I would much rather have him versus the dedicated leftist any day. I want him to stand up for the things that he promised that he would do and for the voters there to play apart in guiding him to do so. So pleased that the nitwit though dangerous woman went down in flames.

We as the nation are crazy. Sanford should never have been selected as running material and never should have won.
We are idiots.

IMHO, I DO hope that he DOES have decent, conservative candidates to challenge him in future elections! He does have negative personal baggage that, indirectly, helps his political opponents, each and every time that there’s an election. This wouldn’t, even, be a close election, if it weren’t for all of his negative personal baggage.

Sanford asked for forgiveness from the SC-1 voters and got it. Congrats to him... and he’ll be a staunch conservative.

“Right to work, less unions, more freedom, less taxes and tradition and traditional families, men are men and women go with men , shooting pro gun, country”
Amen to that. Sanford’s past is rather checkered, but the voters were left with the choice of that flawed, yet conservative-voting man... and a well funded socialist whose political leanings put her in the Nancy Pelosi camp. Ya go to war with the army you have, and SC-1 did just that. So now that Sanford’s aboard, it’s time to kick some commie ass.

His name recognition will get him reelected I suspect his name has been known even to low-information South Carolinians for some time now. The voters of SC-01 voted against Busch, not for Sanford. And that was absolutely the right choice! and the right message to send to the pigs of Washington!
Come the 2014 GOP primary, we'll see.
To: grumpygresh
Sanford beat the Dems, msm, and GOP-e. Yep. Stephen Colbert was denied the opportunity to purchase a House seat for his sister. Gotta love it!

South Carolina voters are suckers. And you bought it hook, line, and sinker. So, how would you have voted, had you been voting in SC01?
You might have gone to the polls, held your nose, and voted for Sanford.
Or you might have done otherwise, in which case you'd have been an irresponsible moron.
Voting has nothing to do with principles or right and wrong. It only has to do with outcomes and futures.

Not good.
This is going to become a national issue now.
And you don’t trust someone like that.

Search twitter etc & see Democrats saying we GOP voters should have rejected him based on our Conservative standards etc. Well, how he will vote is all that I cared about. I wish Democrats would hold their politicians to the same standards that they hold Republican politicians.
