Those of us who remain in the fight to save America from the lunatics of the left stand on the shoulders of the giants who went before us. Howard Phillips, a man it was my pleasure to know and interview several times, was one of those giants. At his 3 score and 10 + 2, Howard left us to be with the Lord on April 20th. May he rest in his well deserved peace.

R.I.P. He may never have gotten more than 1% of the vote, but he got mine a couple of times. He will be missed.

He sure was right to raise a ruckus over Reagan’s appointment of James Baker III. Howard Phillips was the kind of fella America needs...to borrow Nixon’s ‘72 reelection slogan, “Now more than ever”.

I remember seeing him at the 1988 RNC and couldnt remember his name so i didnt feel comfortable striking up a conversation. He was standing there by himself in an isolated part of the Superdome overlooking the floor. Always regretted not having the courage to talk to him. Great man.

A man of vision and integrity. Love of Liberty and Country animated his life. Rest in peace America’s true and faithful son.

I knew Howard for many years. We had our differences, that’s for sure. But he was a sincere patriot, who spent his life in service to his country the best way he knew how.
Rest in peace, indeed.

Sad news. Mr. Phillips could always be counted on to show up and lend his support. I met him in Klamath Falls during the Bucket Brigade.
Thank you for your service, Howard Phillips.
