Not a real shoot out.
More like a shoot up.
Kenny Clutch, the’aspring rapper’ (and known pimp) mouthed off to the wrong people.

Of course it wouldn’t be complete without them taking down some innocents as well.

I heard Jerry Doyle talk show, a resident of Vegas, say the taxi was running on a alternate clean burning fuel source ...propane.
Might explain the instant fire bomb.

No, seriously, at this mortality rate the country will eventually run out of rappers and then what, we'll have to outsource rapping to India?

Dear Rappers: Your culture is rotten to the core. It has nothing to do with race, it has to do with the values you make glamorous, and with the culture of the people who listen to you. Seriously, if you have the brains to criminally exploit the people who listen to you, to make impressive piles of money contributing absolutely nothing of value to the Nation, it is a sad condemnation that in the end you hang out with the same violence-prone idiots you did when you just were starting out. No wonder so many of you die early and stupidly. Simply: take your money, move somewhere nice, and STOP HANINGING OUT WITH PEOPLE LIKE...well, LIKE YOU!

Rapping is an excellent career choice. But, like with everything, there are some on-the-job risks.

My parents told me vehicular shootouts like that used to happen all the time in cities where the mafia was really active-they said it was in the news often when they were kids.

Rap has changed alot since the “Suger HIll Gang”. In their 1977 hit “Rapper’s Delight” they ever sang the line “hey America, we love thee”.

Las Vegas can reduce its crime rate by 80% by closing down all of these nightclubs and replacing them with lounges playing Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin music.
But the unspoken truth is - L.A. drug profits keep the Las Vegas economy going, and the gangsters who collect those profits aren't going to spend them freely in a cultural environment that mirrors broader tastes. Thus we get loud, obnoxious hip-hop at every single venue on the entire Strip, and though the crowds these venues attract might help pay the casinos' gigantic mortgages, they lead to the kind of collateral damage described in the article.
