Um, the largest Texas-based corporation is ExxonMobil which is headquartered in Irving, Texas.

LOL! You don't really expect them to let a pesky thing like facts get in the way of a good narrative, do you?

:-)

This former El Segundo city manager and full-time a$$wipe, Doug Willmore, will chase Chevron out of southern California as well:

I had the good sense to leave by train a day or two before I was conceived.

It’s beginning to look a lot like a Marxist state out there. :)

I moved to Texas to save my job (company has branches in both states).

I have voted conservative since 1976.

Tell me about it. We had some extremely rough years getting started here. They were some of the toughest times of my life, but I would do it all again without hesitation.

...went to Texas to keep my job.

You plan on staying, or are you gonna go home and try to make it work in Cali?

Anyone can leave the state if they've got a strong enough purpose to do so.

Now that's some "strong purpose."

Run away! Run away! Run away! Save yourself!!!

Coward. Just because you don't know how to defeat liberalism you leave. If you think Texas is a refuge, you've got a rude awakening coming. So now you advertise for agreement, hoping that numbers will make it feel better.

I've put twenty years into restoring my land as a precedent against the environmental juggernaut. I can't move it. What we have accomplished is so unique that professors of restoration ecology have driven 200 miles just to see it. The place is starting to get both academic and international attention. You think I'm going to leave now?

You don't know how to win the long war. You don't know how to sell conservatism to liberals. Instead, you wait for the knight on a white horse to save you and lo and behold: Arnold was the coward you deserved.

So you run.

Run away! Save yourself!!! Coward.

Don't start your foul mouthed crap with me, you miserable wretch.

You don't know me. You don't know my circumstances. You don't know what sort of life I lived in Cali, or what I did, or did not do, to try and fight back out there. You also don't know anything about what my wife and I went through, to make our decision.

You don't know the first thing about what it took for me to make the choice to uproot my family's life in California, yet you've got the gall to sit there and condemn me from behind your keyboard.

Go ahead, tough ass. Insult every single transplant on the thread, since you have such godly powers of perception, and have every fact to hand about all of our lives.
