A New York Newspaper Printed the names and addresses of every Licensed Pistol Permit holder in two Counties and another County is being posted shortly! This is a massive privacy breach and the latest in a series of over the top emotional reactions to the latest shooting tragedy in Sandy Hook CT meant to intimidate the lawful and prey on peoples fears to exploit the gun grabbing agenda.
In an article title The gun owner next door: What you dont know about the weapons in your neighborhood the paper linked to an interactive map titled: Map: Where are the gun permits in your neighborhood? where you can search neighborhoods to see who received a legal permit to own a hand gun license listed by name and address.

Yup.
That is the silver lining.
Now the smart crooks will check the list to see which houses to avoid.
I was going to suggest printing the names, addresses, and phone numbers of the paper’s employees. Sauce for the goose, etc.

MOBILE, Alabama —
A shooting on the campus of LeFlore high school earlier this year prompted talk of re-arming school resource officers. Right now—schools across the state are forbidden from arming their security force. State Senator Rusty Glover is introducing legislation for the third time to allow school boards in Mobile County only to decide whether they want school resource officers to pack heat.
These resource officers are highly trained many are former police officers so they are someone that's going to use a lot of good judgment whenever making decisions in times of crisis, says Rusty Glover. It would still need the thumbs up from school boards like Mobile County—board member Dr. Reginald Crenshaw says arming school resource officers would lead to gun battles not safety.
I live here and have firearms. How do you think I feel now.
That was my first thought. Now the criminals know which houses to avoid and which ones are easy targets.
Here’s when this first happened, June, 2010. Thanks for bringing to the forefront again.

They claim they are using their First Amendment Rights to Harass those exercising their Second Amendment.
I hope they get sued out of existence.
I was reading the comments at the story. I read a couple hundred. There was only one comment that didn’t abdo-lutely rip the paper. Then when I tried to load more comments, it stopped loading! Wonder if the paper turned off the comments section? They’re going to see masses of people canceling the subscriptions !
I noticed that, too. The links to the article and the source have been disabled. They must be getting an “Oh-Sh!t-what-have-we-done” moment...
“They must be getting an Oh-Sh!t-what-have-we-done moment...”
Or maybe their lawyer called?
ping!
Plus it takes away the bone from the gun grabbers that we’re just being paranoid. Things like this prove that registration can be abused.
If I were on that list, I’d sue for reckless endangerment.
leftists are hideous
I’m listed there and disgusted beyond words right now.
This may end badly.
somebody needs to find out WHO wrote this crap and publish THEIR name and address!!!
