The SCOTUS ruled 0bamacare is a TAX. Isn’t 0bamacare the LARGEST TAX HIKE IN HISTORY? WHY DO YOU FORGET THAT, BOEHNER?

Ace of Spades might be the only place Boehner can get his word out. The other news networks are doing the usual full court press on behalf of the Democrats.

What massive spending cuts are attached to plan B, or are the freeloaders once again being given more toys to help them get through nonbusy days?

We're not being undertaxed. We're being over spent. Remember?

The mantra of all repubs should be “WE CANT TAX OUR WAY OUT OF DEBT”. Say it loud and often because its true. Make the RATS respond to it because they CANT.

To Obama-worshippers “the biggest tax-hike in history” is a good thing.

“Then the President will have a decision to make. He can call on the Senate Democrats to pass that bill or he can be responsible for the largest tax increase in American history.”

It’s the set up from mid-court so Hussein can slam-dunk it to us.

Hussein WANTS to be known for the “largest tax increase in American history”.

Big Media still worships the Great Clinton for HIS, and credits him for saving the economy with it.

FUJB and your god Hussein, too!

I loved Boehner’s brief speech. He just put it out there and then walked away.

I don’t like plan B at all. First of all, fine lower Social Security by 140 dollars a year. However, I don’t hear a damn thing about lowering welfare receipients 140 dollars a year. Ingrates!!!!

Screw Plan B. I will go with Plan A - do nothing. I look forward to seeing the bottom rate increase by 50%. For too long, those people have not been paying their fair share. And I especially look forward to enforcing a cap on the debt ceiling so that this Administration can no longer get a blank check from the Fed. Why wait around for Lucy to pull back those promised spending cuts? Do nothing, and we automatically get $1.1 trillion in cuts THIS YEAR.

Boehner needs to take a vacation, and stay gone until the end of March. Until then, tens of millions of Americans will see a 50% increase in their taxes. Maybe then they will begin to give a damn about who they elected to be President.

I am STUNNED! Bawling Boy Boehner stood up to Commie Hussein Obama!

This is all we have and it is being played beautifully! I know here at FR there are a lot of Boehner - dislikers (hate to say “haters”), but we have to shift this back to Obama best we can. This is the only way to do it and be able to pass it in the house.

I'm a fan of the cliff. Even bigger fan of shutting it down in Feb when the debt ceiling needs raising. In the interim, at least, we put something reasonable on the table.

Its all a PR game at this point. No way there is a deal the GOP can stomach. I'm all for this tactic. Hobsons choice!

I know it’s popular to beat up on Boehner around here....and I too do not like any of the deals he’s trying to make. However, that all said....I think he is trying to preserve as much of the GWB tax rates as he possibly can and achieve at least some degree of spending restraint.

He has a VERY TOUGH hand to play. The fact that the GWB tax rates were set up to expire within ten years gives him a nearly impossible hand to play. It doesn’t help that BHO was re-elected and that the Dems increased their numbers in both houses of congress.

ANY voter who votes Democrat is voting for higher taxes, more spending, and bigger deficits and bigger government. This is what the voters want, this what they’re going to get. There is little Boehner can do to stop it.

Obama will be proud to pass the largest tax hike in history. And he’ll keep on spending and hiking until the US is kaput.

Now this is how it's done finally. I posted a vanity here recommending this weeks ago

Instead of demanding that the R party be the ones to raise taxes on that 99.8 % of voters, ALL Republicans NOW need to call out O for ‘playing politics with middle class taxes’ by rejecting this extension

Now Republicans need to stop whining about the 0.2% who will see the automatic tax increases, and stop joining Pelosi Dems who will vote against this extension, and instead get on to calling O out for fighting to raise ALL OF OUR taxes by opposing this 'B' bill.

I am really convinced that many just love seeing O win these, but I am LONG tired of it.
