President Obama tonight will speak at an interfaith vigil as part of his visit to Newtown, CT for families of the victims of Sandy Hook Elementary School. President Obama traveled to Newtown, CT earlier today to meet with the families of those who were lost and to thank first responders.

On Friday, the President made a statement to the press on the elementary school shooting in Newtown, Conn. A total of 20 children are among the 26 dead. The gunman also died at the scene.

The President said that it is time for the country to “take meaningful action” after today’s tragedy.

Except for the President campaigning to further his agenda on the blood of children and their parent’s sorrow, the service was Christian and good. One of the ministers mentioned the “culture of death” and that is what hate and violence is about. It’s “liberal” and anti-God, anti-Christ in voice and dominance.

God, hear our prayers. Heal our Nation, forgive us and deliver us from evil. Restore our wisdom. Let us be free of an oppressive government and elite class. Please bless us.

Just wanted to share something I saw on Facebook. It is the sweetest, most moving thing I've seen about this entire tragic affair. It's from Brad White Ministries. I post this because I felt like sharing this. I hope that no rules are being violated and if so, please allow this to be exempted.



twas' 11 days before Christmas, around 9:38 when 20 beautiful children stormed through heaven's gate. their smiles were contagious, their laughter filled the ai r. they could hardly believe all the beauty they saw there. they were filled with such joy, they didn't know what to say. they remembered nothing of what had happened earlier that day. "where are we?" asked a little girl, as quiet as a mouse. "this is heaven." declared a small boy. "we're spending Christmas at God's house." when what to their wondering eyes did appear, but Jesus, their savior, the children gathered near. He looked at them and smiled, and they smiled just the same. then He opened His arms and He called them by name. and in that moment was joy, that only heaven can bring those children all flew into the arms of their King and as they lingered in the warmth of His embrace, one small girl turned and looked at Jesus' face. and as if He could read all the questions she had He gently whispered to her, "I'll take care of mom and dad." then He looked down on earth, the world far below He saw all of the hurt, the sorrow, and woe then He closed His eyes and He outstretched His hand, "Let My power and presence re-enter this land!" "may this country be delivered from the hands of fools" "I'm taking back my nation. I'm taking back my schools!" then He and the children stood up without a sound. "come now my children, let me show you around." excitement filled the space, some skipped and some ran. all displaying enthusiasm that only a small child can. and i heard Him proclaim as He walked out of sight, "in the midst of this darkness, I AM STILL THE LIGHT."

YES!!! I worked in my grandson’s elementary school a couple of years...and felt like a sitting duck everytime I walked in and saw the “No Firearms Allowed” sign at the front door.

“In the coming weeks, I’ll use whatever power this office holds to engage my fellow citizens, from law enforcement to mental health professionals to parents and educators in an effort aimed at preventing more tragedies like this because what choice do we have.

His buildup was very subtle and very moving but when he got to that above IMO it was very blatant even if non-specific. Could anyone mistake his meaning? His intent is clear too. It's going to be his 'my way or the highway' bullying that he has used from the start.

I guess my eyes are failing because I saw a lot of empty seats. In fact I mentioned this to my husband. I would bet a lot of folks were turned away. Not family members but people that no one knew.

I couldn’t watch this “memorial service.” They found every excuse to pan the camera to Obama sitting in the front row. No doubt the Secret Setvice didn’t have to follow the no guns in school rule.

I am laughing out loud...that C=span chick must not realize that obama is also a LIAR...he can't write his own speech, he doesn't know how to spell all he knows how to do is sign his name..

and I bet money...michelle, mamma and the girls are already in Hawaii..they were suppose to go on vacation on the 16th anyway...that was the date posted in November...so hopefully someone can find out if they are already there???? and I would not be surprised if both the daughters don't even know what happened in Newtown, CT. as they are guarded from all news events and are not allowed to watch any thing negative about 'dad'...
