Barack Obama wiped away tears at the White House as he expressed grief over the children killed in the Connecticut massacre and promised "meaningful action" to prevent similar shooting rampages in the future.
Obama has promised to act on gun control after earlier shooting incidents but subsequently done nothing implement any changes. Over the last four years of his presidency, restrictions on guns – in particular concealed weapons – have become more relaxed and gun sales soared.
There have been five major shooting sprees since he has been president, three of them this year. This one is different because the majority of the victims in the school in Newtown are young children, but the most recent opinion polls have shown overwhelming opposition to gun restrictions.

Black powder is totally unregulated. There are tons of unregistered firearms. Shot guns aren't regulated. Hunting rifles aren't regulated? Banning guns doesn't seem too practicle to me?

I wouldnt be surprised if they wanted to break down doors. Nothing Obama and his cronies do surprise me anymore. Instead of coming together as a nation and mourning 20 innocent babies being murdered, the left has to find a way to glorify this and promote their agenda..its disgusting but not surprising, nothing surprises me anymore

Agreed. obama may be a terrible puppet president with an anti-American ideology his handlers intend to shove down everyone’s throat.
But he is a man and has kids. I can’t imagine anyone with children (or not) NOT shedding tears over this awful calamity. I have been close to tears myself.
For this one we give him a pass — unless and until he starts gun-grabbing.

That point needs to be pushed over and over again. I’m sick of liberals who cry about dead children while they promote abortion. We should NOT even use the word abortion. We need to call it what it is: Baby killing.
Or China, where a couple days ago something very similar happened with about as many dead, no gun at all.

Absolutely. I agree. This is no time for gun control either. I do not want to hear it. No amount of gun control would have prevented what happened today. And re: the President...he is the father of two children. I think this took everyone’s breath away. So tragic. And to think, those bodies are still lying in that school. I cannot imagine what those parents are going through.
Which makes incidents like this all the more necessary. Perfect timing for the gun grabbers. Isn't it odd how the timing always is so perfect for them?
don’t you get it....its a political persecution tool....anyone that shows up anywhere buying a gun, a gun rack, ammo, gun magazines, etc will be linked with a list of anti-demoncrats and shazaammmm....reason to get a warrant and reason to barge into your house...

You are spot on, and I'll go a step further...TOTUS would sacrifice 1,000 more 5-year-olds to bolster his gun grab (and theft of private property) agenda.
