State police are responding to a report of a shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School on Dickinson Drive, school officials said.
Police are reporting a number of injured parties. The nature of their injuries is not clear.

I would propose senior staff and teachers at all schools be taught proficiency in handling a handgun, and that all classrooms have at least one defensive weapon in it
The shooter is from a liberal state (NJ) and commits the atrocity in another liberal state (Conn). But the powers that be will hail this as a problem that only the federal government can solve by passing a national firearms ban. They won’t let this crisis “go to waste”.
I think that's an excellent idea.
Think about how much time it took to reload 2 handguns to fire that many rounds. All it took was ONE armed teacher, guard or administrator, and it would have ended with a handful dead, or none at all. More deaths at the hands of liberals.
Maybe the kids went home.
They’ll use this to push for an “assault weapons ban” even though the crime was committed using two handguns and a .22 rifle, in a state where you need a permit to purchase and carry a handgun.
Inequity in divorce proceedings is real. I still don’t think we should splinter off topic here. Let’s keep it to information about the shooting and loss of life.

I can’t stand Obama, but ANY President is going to make a statement about this kind of shooting. I can’t imagine him not saying anything.

I know. I’m being flamed because I dared to say that what happened today and yesterday and seems to be happening with increasing regularity is the offspring of our culture that increasingly disregards families, life, traditional Judeo-Christian morality.
While I’m sitting here literally nauseous about this attack, should any of us be surprised when these events occur?
This just confirms what I have believed for a long time, we are also is dealing with spiritaul warfare here.
So far, ALL the killers were patients of state funded psychiatrists. If this killer was, too, that says something.

Well, the witnesses see the cops running around pointing guns, scaring the heck out of everyone and yelling and screaming well after the incident is over, they assume there must be something else going on.
It's just the cops trying to feel useful after they couldn't do anything AGAIN.

Four hours after the incident, the first “Press Conference” shows state police congratulating themselves while saying NOT ONE THING about the shooter, the # of dead, weapons, the incident...anything at all. Am I the only one that thinks this is insane? We are given nothing except wild stories by an inept press. WTF?
Really? Of course there is always evil, and random incidents reflecting this evil, but the pace of evil in this country (and elsewhere) has surely quickened way past the random spectacular event.
