In my IT shop, we’re 8-1 conservative, with the one being the boss. Then again, it’s fairly red counties around here on MD’s Eastern Shore and Southern Delaware.

Presser.

Got state police involved right away.

Every crack and crevice of school was checked by police.

Students and staff into staging area, then reunited with families.

No names given of deceased now.

Trying to locate shooter, search warrant activity, etc. scene is secure.

Who the heck is talking about misogyny?

I’m talking about the breakdown of traditional morality.

I’m talking about the breakdown of the family.

I’m talking about a political system that encourages the breakdown of the family.

And I’m talking about how all of that contributes to pushing people over the edge, whether it is a sicko man as in this horrible story or some woman that flips out and kills her children.

Do you not see the elephant in the room? These “tragic” events have been increasing since we have abandoned our traditional, Judeo-Christian roots.

Absolutely correct. This once free and open society was held in check by our reverence for Biblical principles and restraints. What our society once was simply can no longer be because we have shaken our fist at God and said, “We dont’t want you!” And hence we get today, or the other day at the mall, or Columbine, or....

That in 1927 nutcase blew up a school in Michigan killing 38 elementary kids suggests not as much has changed as you think.

If this guy was 24 and the father of one of the kids, then his own child would probably have been in that classroom.

It’s really incomprehensible. An entire kindergarten class (and their teacher).

How many more innocents have to be slaughtered before we BAN "gun-free zones" in the United States?

Columbine: 15
Virginia Tech: 33
Aurora, CO: 12
Newtown, CT: 27
(I am sure I forgot a few, not to mention Killeen, TX 1991 - 24 dead- , which led to "must-issue" concealed carry in TX)

Had enough of liberal policies already, America?

Here is their argument: “my friend’s kid was killed in a school shooting. He was a brilliant boy, so sweet, played ball, loved his puppy. He’d be alive today if that murderer had a knife.”

Not if the murderer chose to use chemicals or bombs instead. If someone wants to kill, they're going to find a way to kill - period.

Yep....I am not buying the story yet. Things already don’t add up. Rumors that Obama will give a statement soon. Another sign of damage control in the works.

Just logged on.

My bride is a school teacher. They are changing the “lock down” policy to “Get the heck out”.

Lock down makes people passive targets.

They are also trialing more active ways of dealing with a shooter.
Sadly, this wasn’t the case.

He put it on credit, I’ll bet. It would mean that he planned this out. He wanted to “make a name for himself”. If he knew he was going to die ina blaze of glory or go to jail for the rest of his life, what does a $20,000 credit card bill matter.

Sadly, I think you are not far off the mark. (Flame suit ON) Of course the mainstream media will use this as an opportunity to further deny fathers access to their children.

Anyone who has not been through the "Family" Court System as a white, Western male does not know what it's like. Especially in the militantly "feminist" BLUE states. Men are stripped of their life earnings and simultaneously denied access to see their children. Women are ENCOURAGED to alienate the children from the father via the divorce industry grist mill.

There is a child SUPPORT enforcement unit but not a child EQUAL PARENTING TIME enforcement unit. Anyone who thinks there is no debtor's prison in Amerika should google: Title IV-D

This is tragic, horrendous and unjustified but having lived this through my second husband, I see the pure and utter frustration due to a system that couldn't care less if dad was laid off, but continues to expect the same amount of money from dad even in Obama's economy with penalties and interest (mostly for matching fed funds for cash strapped BLUE states; downward modification? HA and GOOD LUCK!) with the threat of losing professional, driver license etc or prison. Then these same agencies turn around and wink at Parental Alienation by (usually) custodial mom.

I just got off my mom who is coming from praying outside of an abortion mill. She was appalled but not surprised. She pointed out that when you see the hardness of hearts and the evil inside of people who will abort their babies two days before Christmas then your not surprised when people will murder children even very young children outside the womb. It’s a complete breakdown of morality.

Really no information of any importance given at the presser. Understandable at just 4 or so hours after this massacre.
