A Hungarian far-right politician urged the government to draw up lists of Jews who pose a “national security risk”, stirring outrage among Jewish leaders who saw echoes of fascist policies that led to the Holocaust.
Marton Gyongyosi, a leader of Hungary’s third-strongest political party Jobbik, said the list was necessary because of heightened tensions following the brief conflict in Gaza and should include members of parliament.
Opponents have condemned frequent anti-Semitic slurs and tough rhetoric against the Roma minority by Gyongyosi’s party as populist point scoring ahead of elections in 2014. …

About.com cites 2005 figures of about 50,000 out of a country of well over 9 million total population. So this means that Hungary’s police unions are bizarrely and overly concerned with foreign policy that is hostile to Israel.
of course, they use the term “far right” in this country to try and link conservatives to them.
American conservatives are not “far right”
Meanwhile, it’s the liberal politicians here that are more in favor of corporate welfare and state intervention in business, which echoes fascist policies. (When I say “liberal”, of course I exclude party names, which have become meaningless.)
Demonstrating once again that we learn nothing from history. I’ll bet these lads are a bunch of dummies with beer bellies.

Agreed, Olog-hai. IMO, we’re seeing bipartisan politics gradually resembling European “right wing” activities more than American conservatism. All are socialists, trying to tighten more against freedoms and looking for other groups to blame for their own evil deeds each term. The now-mostly-unemployed remnant of real, private sector “producers” are being circled as in a fishbowl, by political regulators and their eyes and ears (government-linked gossips). New competition is virtually outlawed (piles upon piles of zoning “laws,” “impact fees,” other environmental and social hindrances).
For example, men who worked in the private sector with steel, wood, etc., are outlawed, even from starting their own small production operations. Able bodied men are often commented upon in politics as being both the evil “union” members (nearly extinct in the private, non-government-linked manufacturing sector—union and non-union) and sexists. Meanwhile, government-employed unions are promised more hiring from all sides in politics (see Romney: “hire” more public school “teachers”).
As frightful as tradesmen are—especially with families—the consequences of shunting them from the economy will continue to mount, until those problems are remedied. There’s nothing conservative about worshiping the earth, worshiping animals, fearing environmental/population bogeymen, building an anti-technical regime, perpetuating vices (pot legalization/rehab/fines/family-busting/prison-rackets), being sexually confused or collaborating with communist enemies to put down the American economy. Yet, here we are. See the political parties. See so much water under the bridge with linguistic activism supporting social pathologies and robberies.
As for the remaining (non)labor unions, even they are feminized, sexually confused and pagan in regards to environmental fears/delusions/propaganda. [Actually, environmentalism is most often used to prevent new and truly productive competition.] In sum, we’re morally bankrupt and are going to pay the price with a much worse economy, more losses of freedom and other worsening conditions.
Many more won’t realize what’s happening, until they’re also deposed by austerity measures to join Americans unemployed from the real private sector (real: that is, once in real production). It’s been raining middle class people, and there are no more major Ponzi schemes to prop them up—only the rising pile of debt made possible by the internationally declining dollar. There’s no magic trick for sustainable revenues. Manufacturing is needed, and millions of new, unspoiled families are needed in manufacturing.
As for the fascists in Hungary, fascists throughout history have talked much about work. But they know little of real work. They propagandize (as with ancient Rome and the new Rome of the west), while they look for victims to falsely blame and rob. But you know. all of that will come to an end someday.
But no general, overall problem. Such rotten structures are eventually gone because of their own weight and weakness, to be rebuilt by the morally and technically inclined.

These aren’t far right, they’re despot-wannabe’s with a clear agenda of government control of everything in society; in short, these goons are democrats.

Doesn’t matter whether he’s conservative, martian or a no-handicap golfer. That boy needs to be taken out and hung for even such a suggestion. I’m waiting to see what Freepers defend him.

Note post 14 (and 15 and 16, not my fault). Religion is a census issue, and the number comes in just under 13,000. The higher numbers are estimates using other methods of determining who is a Jew than the answer on the census.

When discussing Jobbik it is hard not to bring up the Nazis or their lackeys, the Arrow Cross Party. Jobbik happily betrays Western Civilization, Europe, and Hungary to get support from Shia Islamists from Iran, and the Muslim Brotherhood, which was allied with the Nazis . Jews have lived in what is now Hungary before the Magyars invaded Pannonia and the Carpathian Basin. I’m not sure there is a future for them in Hungary.
Anti-S in this environment doesn't make any sense to me.
