Memories of one of our earlier Thanksgiving extravaganzas:
A splendid example of modern American turkey breeding - note the ample white meat!
Keep Faith with the Fallen of Benghazi! Let the Obama Regime, for once, tell the Truth!
Fiat Justitia, Ruat Coelum!
Genuflectimus non ad principem sed ad Principem Pacis!
Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)

You detest Thanksgiving. All that family drama mixed with unappetizing side dishes? No thank you! You'll make an appearance if you absolutely have to, but you won't enjoy it. You probably don't even like pumpkin pie.
Your ideal Thanksgiving would be spent completely alone... or with the few people that you can tolerate. You'd eat whatever you want - even in front of the TV if you felt like it. And there's a good chance you wouldn't be eating sweet potatoes with marshmallow. Gag! |

Hi All - So glad to be home for these few weeks. My Thanksgiving personality is:
~ Your Thanksgiving Personality is Social ~
Thanksgiving is one of your favorite days of the year, and not just because of the food.
While you enjoy Thanksgiving dishes as much as anyone else, you really live for being in one room with the people you love.
You look forward to Thanksgiving for many months, and you're tickled to see each new person walk through the door. You cherish every moment you spend, and you wish the day could go on forever. The people you spend Thanksgiving with make all the difference.
~ Welcome Home Sweetie ~

Your Thanksgiving Personality is Thankful |
At Thanksgiving, all you want is a warm bed to sleep in and a home cooked meal to eat. As long as you have those things, you're grateful. You're able to rise above any of the stress or drama associated with the holidays. You are just happy for what you have.
Whether it's been the best or worst year of your life, you take this day to count your blessings... no matter how small they might be. And if possible, you try to help someone in need - anyone from a hungry stranger to a lonely friend. |

Over the river and through the woods a sister of mine gives me even more to be thankful for by insisting on preparing and serving a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner with family. Yes, I am ready and thankful.
Blessings on you and yours this Thanksgiving.

Hi Kathy!
(Caught me just as I was heading to bed.)
Yes, we’re going to the brother-in-laws for Thanksgiving dinner.
I’m primarily looking forward to a four-day weekend. The downside is trying to get a week’s worth of work done in only three days. I’m sure you can relate to that. :)
