. . . you really dont see a CIA director being potential blackmail bait as a problem?Doesn't matter what I think. Name anybody in the BO inner circle who values national security over some imaginary problem like, say, global warming.

Remember the Secret Service agent who ‘committed suicide’ five days before the election, ‘over an extramarital affair’ too? What did he know about Obama’s whereabouts and actions during Benghazi, hmmmmm... Time for Team 0bama to find a new narrative for further rat ship jumpers.

Actually, who’s to say there was an affair at all? Perhaps he made up the story, cleared it with the wife, and is using it as a pretext to get out of the Obama cabinet before the SHTF.

Hey Petraeus, hows you Benghazi hanging?
My grandfather taught me that there is one thing that no man can not take from you, your integrity/honor. He said that to lose it, you had to give it away and once lost, you can never get it back.
Do suffer much, Petraeus.

Now we know why he was so flexible on supporting the “offensive video” B.S.

There is no man in a high position who had an affair, no matter how guilty he felt, no matter whether he told his wife or didnt, who would decide he needed to resign from his high position.
No way, no how.
Unless someone found out and threatened to blow it sky high unless he stepped down. Or threatened to blow sky high even if he resigned.
Which meant if he wanted to escape blackmail, he would be thus forced to resign and confess. No man does that otherwise. His hand was forced.

It’s truly sad when the Director of the CIA can’t keep an extramarital affair secret.

Petraeus left work at 6:00 while he knew the consulate was under attack to go see a private screening of Argo with Matt Damon!

Karma for the bastard who was more concerned with what some stupid Florida Pastor was doing than protecting his troops.Nah, that wasn't Petraeus that was some other General, can't think of his name right now though.

“If Petraeus really had an affair, it would be no cause for resignation or even embarrassment in the present administration.”
Blackmail, compromised...possibly within his own CIA. Someone was going public and he got out in front of it.
