Post your "I Told You So" Vanities here!

DON'T Start the 50-millionth Vanity thread!

Find your allies on either side:

In this corner: "Romney RINO wasn't conservative enough to really win Purple PA and Ohio!"

In the other: "The Social Conservatives scared off too many Indiots!"

We can have the bile out here and leave the other threads to sincere discussion. Then the Admins can delete this later when we're all embarrassed of what we've said.

Where’s Dick Morris......you know, Mr. “GOP/Romney tsunami” Morris?

He's only right once a decade.  This wasn't it.
I'm not sure why anyone pays attention to him.

Karl Rove made himself look like the biggest fool ever last night. Gee he was embarassing. Reminded me of one of the Duke brothers at the end of the movie Trading Places.

I would stress individual autonomy and personal choice vs. bureaucratic control. This isn't a new idea. 30 years ago, Newt Gringrich, Dick Army, Bob Walker, and other noisy backbenchers were driving Tip O'Neil crazy with one-minutes about "the conservative opportunity society."

So, that worked...yet..here we are?

Newt's formulation morphed into "Renewing American Civilization." Bush 43 called it the "ownership society."

The Ownership Society is what forced banks to give loans to people who couldn't afford them and created the CDS fiasco.

How’s this for a nightmare: The 2016 Democratic primary— Hillary versus Michelle to be the de facto next President, because there’s no way the GOP is going to ever win another meaningful election.

There has been talk, Bichelle to take the Hilary route, run against Mark Kirk in 2016, President later.

Kirk is a RINO but I’d walk over broken glass to vote for him over “her”.

That’s a Wookie. Not a woman.

Look for the following, very soon...

1. Collapse of our first class medical system as Obamacare kicks in...

2. Economic collapse, leading to massive unemployment (huge layoffs and businesses trading full time for part time jobs) and a full blown depression as government spending explodes with new stimulus, massive welfare spending, taxes at all levels skyrocketing, individual personal spending cratering in all discretionary areas, and as businesses close down, hunker down, or flee the country...

3. A second rate military as sequestration kicks in...

4. Gutting of our nuclear deterrent...

5. Iran getting The Bomb...

6. A major war in the Middle East...

7. Collapse of the US Dollar as we go into a massive inflation...

8. Gasoline at $10 a gallon as EPA destructive energy policies and mid-east wars kick in...

9. Total amnesty for illegal aliens, massive waves of new illegal aliens, increased violence and corruption because of drug cartels and other powerful criminal organizations, and the collapse of our southern border...

10. Massive immigration of Mulims, leading to increased violence and political strife...

11. Increased social violence and racial strife (blacks pushing, whites pushing back, affirmative action backlash, increased black on white violence)...

12. Increased political violence as people react against increasing government tyranny and the general and racial/religious and economic ugliness...

13. Breakup of the USA into 7 or 8 separate regions/countries with probable civil war...

The recriminations have hardly begun. (see my tagline: the "death spiral" is about to begin because we missed the last EXIT ramp)

Is it moral for a conservative to bring a child into this country as just another slave to the 47%?

This world belongs to God as do our children, no matter what state we are in.

1 Samuel 2:8
He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD's, and he hath set the world upon them.

1 Corinthians 7:20-22
20 Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called.
21 Art thou called being a servant? care not for it: but if thou mayest be made free, use it rather.
22 For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord's freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ's servant.

Well. Who should it have been that would've tipped the scales in OH, VA and/or PA?

I have to believe Santorum would have done better in Pennsylvania. Otherwise, the candidate's stunning lack of conservatism certainly didn't help him. He got three million fewer votes than John McCain, for crying out loud.

The Republican Party is BROKEN. It can be fixed but only by embracing its base. Or it can die. Matters not to me.

If Sen. Kirk doesn’t run, in 2016, which Republican should run? I hope that Congressman Hultgren will run.

By 2016 I doubt we'll even have a US Senate. So maybe Die geliebten Führer will just appoint Satan's Daughter as our new Inländische Aufseher.

but no one figured about Soros and his project to enroll each secretary of state into his "plan"....all I know is that IMO the whole thing was a fix, from day one....not only the voting machines, but the whole shebang....

Yup.

From another thread, comment from dforest:

The democrats have perfected the cheat machine.

Early voting-this is how they set up what they will need
Fighting Voter ID laws
Absentee ballots
Provisional ballots
Mail In ballots Election day shenanigans

All of that and the most important one is the one you mentioned.

COMPUTER VOTING
After Florida 2000.

Who can forget that and all the kerfuffle over the hanging chads. All the hand wringing about how we need better machines to vote on. That was the big set up. Get machines that could be rigged with no hanging chads and a paper trail.

I would imagine those machines had the fix in very early. That is why the dems didn’t act all crazy about losing.

Those dem proclamations about exit polls and not worrying were just cover in order to act surprised.

To: cherry; Veristhorne

And this from Veristhorne on the same thread:

2008:
OBama 69,297,997
McCain: 59,597,520

2012 (preliminary count)
Obama: 54,773,837
Romney 53,716,689

In order for the above totals to be correct:
1) 10% of the people that voted for McCain in 2008 did not vote for Romney in2012
2) No one who voted for Obama in 08 switched to Romney, despite all the negatives
3) In a surprise upset a Scotish bagpiper was elected Miss World...

Votes for Obama can’t exceed 100% of total who voted, therefore to win votes must be changed from Romney to Obama, resulting in false low Republican turnout.
Diebold machine can be reprogrammed to sing in < 1 minute.

There is just a little over a million votes separating those numbers. I think those are the final numbers.

Remember in all those states the polls were open late claiming long lines. Those were most likely dems who maybe had voted twice or were illegals.

There were lots of computer machines swicthing votes too. GOP poll judges.

If you take the vote tally and divide it among key swing states, it would not be all that hard to use all these mentioned methods to swing the whole race.

The NYT put out kind of a cryptic message today that I feel was a laugh at us. They said something like the country did swing more right this year, but not enough to give Romney a victory. Odd remark.

“Many of these idiotic American women sit with aged and malfunctioning reproductive systems, yet ABORTION seems to be the first, last and only priority in their “lives”.”

There is economic warfare as well which is beneficial to these females; they fill positions they are unqualified for as affirmative action tokens, and now make up 59% of college classes. Despite what Obama says, there is finite wealth, and these women are getting paid (their version of “Obama phone”). Routinely working less hours, with less background/knowledge than males counterparts, getting artifical paychecks to fend off lawyers...

The rest of the field was not “ne’er-do-wells”, ROMNEY WAS! And people fell for his used car salesman gimmick. The whole argument that he was the least flawed and therefore the most electable is a perfect example of a self-unfulfilling prophecy.

Do we know yet what group(s) of McCain voters stayed home yesterday?
I am shocked that McCain received more votes than Romney!

The Republicans don't have to get them all. They just have to get sufficient Hispanic votes to win these swing states. As I said on another thread, the GOP should be focusing on the teenage and young adult children of Hispanic immigrants. This second generation is likely to be much better educated and less tolerant of the slackers who make up a big chunk of the Democratic base.

I suspect recent immigrants -- even illegal ones -- would almost unanimously find that YouTube video of that quasi-humanoid mutant in Ohio babbling about her free cell phone utterly repulsive.
