Obama campaign spokeswoman Jennifer Psaki, asked about the president saying Friday that "voting is the best revenge," said the he was referring to revenge against GOP challenger Mitt Romney's lies and scare tactics in recent ads.
Psaki said a recent ad falsely claiming that Jeep was moving operations overseas amounted to a "scare tactic," frightening workers in Ohio into thinking, falsely, that theyre not going to have a job.
"And the message [President Obama] was sending is if you dont like the policies, if you dont like the plan that Gov. Romney is putting forward, If you think thats a bad deal for the middle class, then you can go to the voting booth and cast your ballot," Psaki told reporters aboard Air Force One on Saturday. "Its nothing more complicated than that.

Hah! The “Revenge Ad” scored a direct hit.
Barry has to “explain”, or qualify everything he says. It’s all lies, anyway.
They can explain the meaning of “revenge” all they want. But taken in the context of Obama’s facial and body language, people understand what he meant.
Go ahead & tell everyone what ‘revenge’ means, Obama campaign.
What lies and scare tactics? How ‘bout truth and warnings?
A fitting theme for the last two days of this campaign!
The Founders of America, impassioned believers in Creator-endowed life, liberty, rights, laws to protect them, and freedom of individual enterprise and opportunity certainly would echo Mitt Romney's statement today!
After centuries of Government-over-People arrangements, whether by one, a few, or many, our Founders saw liberty as a Creator-endowed blessing (see Preamble to Constitution), and that Constitution which formed our Republic changed that arrangement to a Creator - People - Governmeent form of self-government which protected those "blessings" of liberty.
Revenge is not an emotion which is conducive to good government or successful individual lives.
Hopefully, on Tuesday, American citizens, motivated by an internal longing for more liberty and less government will have made their appeal to Divine Providence, as did the Founders, and exercise their sacred right to vote for a leader who appeals, not to their baser emotions, but to their God-given longings and desires.
Perhaps we might be inspired by listening to a tremendous modern hymn entitled, "Heal Our Land," by Orrin Hatch,, as performed by Winton Phipps.
Maybe not China, but what about Italy?
AUTO BAILOUT BOMBSHELL: Fiat Says Chrysler, Jeep Production May Move to Italy
Submitted by Mark Modica on Tue, 10/29/2012 - 10:53
Coming hot on the heels of speculation that some Jeep production may be moved to China comes a bombshell from a Bloomberg report. Fiat is now considering moving Chrysler and Jeep production to Italy.
According to the piece, “To counter the severe slump in European sales, (Fiat CEO Sergio) Marchionne is considering building Chrysler models in Italy, including Jeeps, for export to North America. The Italian government is evaluating tax rebates on export goods to help Fiat. Marchionne may announce details of his plan as soon as Oct. 30, the people said.”
That hate filled slip by this America hater and Mitts quick
Ad response just sealed the election !
Drudge headline until Monday !
Revenge is what Obama is all about. Note how divided the country has become since he came into office....
Benghazi 0bama hates.
...That is all.
It’s good to see that little Jenny kept her tap dancing shoes. She’s tap dancing her @$$ off here. LOL! You go Jenny! Good job! You get a trophy!
We know exactly what you meant, loser.
Exactly! Everything that comes out of his mouth requires some poor campaign underling to come out with a mop and wipe up his mess.
This IS the defining ad of 2012 election season.
Obama made the mistake of baring his dark soul.
PS One of the largest union employers in Springfield, Ohio is NAVISTAR. Consider the recent engine difficulty that company has with the EPA. ($2000 fine per non compliant engine)
NAVISTAR is being sustained by a venture capitalist, Carl Icahn. I hear none of the left complaining about the rich saving their jobs.
Americans want to respect the President even if they don’t always agree with him.
Obama has shown us he is not worthy of our respect. Belittling your opponents isn’t very presidential! It reminded people of everything they dislike about him.
Obama saying he wants people to use their vote for “revenge” comes across as petty and small-minded. Its a snarky remark and it reflects poorly on him as a human being and and as the President.
We deserve better - much better. Its time for a change for our country!
Barry has been taking out his revenge on Americans for the past four years. It’s time for that to stop. VOTE!
This is like the “You didn’t build that!” comment all over again. The backpedaling from these campaign representatives tells me that they’ve done some short-term polling and determined that there is a devastating public backlash to that idiotic statement yesterday.
