Romney ahead of Obama in Pennsylvania by Four Posted on November 2, 2012 by eriecogop
Susquehanna Polling and Research results for Pennsylvania released today shows Mitt Romney leading President Obama 49% to 45% among 1376 likely voters. Two percent are undecided and 3% are for other candidates.
In the same sample Republican Tom Smith leads Senator Casey by two percentage points in the race for the United States Senate seat from Pennsylvania. Smith is at 48% to Caseys 46% according to this poll.
Diana Irey Vaughan (R) is tied with McCord at 45% each, David Freed(R) trails Kane by 45% to 47% and Maher(R) leads DePasuale 45% to 44%.
This poll shows the highly competitive nature of all statewide races where there are no highly favored candidates and it also reveals that Pennsylvania is definitely in play for both the presidential and senatorial races which will determine control of the direction of this nation between two differing visions on energy independence, education, international trade, balancing the budget and support for small businesses.

NOT A NEW POLL!!!!!!!!!!!
Hoping it still stands though.
Sounds now like there is a new poll but these results arent it. New poll will be in trib review tomorrow. Closer race than 4 pts.
I hope you’re right. In 1980, Jimmy Carter was told the morning of election day that he would lose. In 1988, George Bush was told the Friday before.
2008 + IN, NE1, NC, FL, VA, PA, CO = 277EV
But if it's that lineup, I'll be surprised...
I sure hope not, but with obama, it's anybody's guess how he will handle this. Not gracefully!!!
I’m hoping...just a hope...that the photo-op with Obammie the Commie’s guiding, caring, conciliatory hand on Christie Love’s shoulder will prove to be a big backfire.
As Newt (I think it was Newt) said, Obammie the Commie came in to act like a work horse but just got the photo-op and left, proving to have been just a show horse.
Romney or one of the pacs is. I’ve been hearing them and other Romney ads like crazy on WSBA in York. I mean he is absolutely carpet bombing that station (which is preaching to the choir- Rush, Hannity, conservative morning show, and unfortunately Geraldo).
Will inform asap.
Confirmed poll is 3 weeks old. They are releasing a new poll Sunday showing a tighter race.
The newest data is to be released tomorrow, Sunday the 4th, and will appear in the Pitts. Trib-Review.
But lest anyone lose heart over this news, I remain of the firm belief that tomorrow's numbers will be even more encouraging, both for the Presidential race AND Tom Smith's bid to unseat that useless Casey weasel.
I think it is just an honest mistake. Some sort of glitch. I don’t think anyone can turn that into a scandal.
How likely is it that two polls, 3 weeks apart, have the exact same number of likely voters in the sample (1,347) and shows the exact same numbers in two races (R 49 - 0 45 / Smith 48 - Casey 46)? That exact match of likely voters is really the giveaway. The chance of all the numbers, including the number of likely voters that made it through the screen, to be identical, would have to be astronomical.
And no, $10 ain't much on the face of it, but when viewed as a % of my little shop's income in this Ødious 'economy', it's more than it seems .. lol (kinda ;-)
Given the crap that's rolled downhill onto this state in the past føur miserable years, if we can't pull it off this year my disgust will be beyond words.
Praying for our country and for a big win!! I voted early the other day cause I am leaving town. The place was packed. I normally hate early voting because of fraud fears, but Texas is lock for Romney or else I would have postponed the trip.
Hugs and prayers for you guys on election day! May we all be celebrating by Tuesday evening!
But of course RCP won’t publish this poll, a poll I’ve definitely heard of, but they’ll publish Weaskamerica and other garbage polls.
Slowly I turned... Step by step... Inch by inch.
Tyrell, yes, I read him. Mostly Buckley, and Mona Charen & Thomas Sowell were getting started.
Mostly I read political theory in a historical context: Hobbes, Locke, Adam Smith, Marx, Lenin, Bukharin. In addition to LOTS of regular history.
I knew Marxism was crap when I was 12. Nothing convinced me any different since then. I was shocked in college that supposedly smart professors were Marxists. One of my life-long friends at IU was also a Poli-Sci major. We would laugh at the AI who came to class in her olive-drab combat fatigue pants. Yeah, Ms. Che Guevara groupie, like you’re gonna go man the barricades and be down with the struggle. Right after your next latte. Or the professor who advocated “the workers owning the means of production.” I worked construction to get through college and I knew what would happen if you tried to turn the means of production over to the crew at Rome Builders. The building wasn’t getting built, the “worker’s committee” was going to head to the parking lot for a keg of beer and a bucket of chicken, and the “means of production” (company tools) were going home with them that night and not being returned. If I had balls and didn’t need the grade to get to law school, I would have advocated “students controlling the means of production of grades,” had the class vote ourselves A+’s, and then convened the class at Nick’s for several beers.
If Romney wins PA, he does not need Ohio.
Here’s hoping my brother good ol’ boy rednecks, hunters, gunnies, coal miners, and just plain old middle-class working guys come through in my state and throw this marxist POS and his comrades out on their collective asses on Tuesday...
I’m sorry but that poll is from October 18th. It isn’t new.

You might not want to get all worked up over PA.
