Counterterrorism sources and internal emails reviewed by CBS News express frustration that key responders were ready to deploy, but were not called upon to help in the attack. These must be some of the emails that Gingrich was talking about yesterday. It was thought that one of the MSM holders of the emails was CBS.
It's almost time for the Friday news dump, but I think there might be some in the MSM who actually would like this to get out sooner. If nothing else, they'd like to scoop the other source that supposedly has these emails.

Four other embassies had been attacked on Sept. 11th before the consulate in Benghazi was. What would it take to cause 0coward and his buttmonkeys to become concerned about our personnel overseas?

More details in the CBS article. It makes it sound like the Keystone cops were running around in Washington. A MUST READ article.
“Another senior counter terrorism official says a hostage rescue team was alternately asked to get ready and then stand down throughout the night, as officials seemed unable to make up their minds.”
RE: AFICOM: “Forces were positioned after the fact but not much good to those that needed it,” the military source told CBS News.

"They were not allowed to do their job. They were not called upon."..of course they weren't called upon, it would have meant more people to convince it was about a YT video and because they would have known better, they would have told the truth

We’ll see if they run it as a story on the evening news, as opposed to an internet article.

Does CBS’s ‘sudden’ finding and story have anything to do with Glenn Beck’s threat from yesterday?

CBS News has learned that during the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. Mission in Benghazi, the Obama Administration did not convene its top interagency counterterrorism resource: the Counterterrorism Security Group, (CSG).
That's because Barry had already determined that it could not possibly have been terrorism and, so, did not require such a meeting.

This little nugget has me putting on my tinfoil hat and beginning to think that maybe this was a planned kidnapping gone wrong, as others have suggested.

Well, you would convene this group if you actually wanted to do something. If you’re just sitting there hoping that this will go away so nobody finds out you’ve been starting wars to make a profit off the cleanup then you go to bed.

government official told CBS News.
Someone has really PO'd the career civilians in state, intel, and military. They're leaking like the Lusitania at a Titanic party.
And if Hillary has any sense, she will bury this regime before Monday. They will slice & dice her if they get a 2nd term.

President Obama says that the Secretary of State was responsible for Ambassadors and Consulates as well as their security and they blew it. He says that also under the bus is the CIA and the Military — they blew it.
He had a fundraiser to rest up for and as far as he knew those others had it handled when he went off to bed after the “movie” they were showing about it.
I can’t understand why some minor figures in the media just don’t refer to his Nobel Prize award and leave these smaller issues for the others truely responsible.
