Have you voted Yet? (Vanity)

Posted on 10/31/2012 2:44:02 PM PDT by BornToBeAmerican

I just voted, I hope everyone has or is going to.

The place was packed and it was good to see. I know Texas is safe, but one is never safe doing nothing.

Go Vote

I’m going to wait until Election Day so I can serve as a poll watcher.

I know that Obama’s supporters will do anything to get him re-elected, and I’m going to do my part to make sure they don’t get away with any funny business in my area.

Did it yesterday morning. On the weekend the lines were super long. I live across the street from our voting location so I was able to go when there weren’t lines. But when I was done the lines were long again.

Also in Texas — We know how the POTUS will go but we HAVE to get Cruz in!

>>There’s nothing childish about saying “I don’t agree with this guy enough to vote for him”.<<

Better to indirectly vote for the other guy. If obozo wins the sideliners and fantasy players will be to blame.

I’ll vote on election day, like it’s supposed to be, with my ID identifying my unique, singular right to vote. How can early or absentee voting, combined with the ability to register at the polls, not bastardize the system?

Two here for Romney next Tuesday in MA. My son would vote for him too if he could. Brown as well.

Frankly I’m unsure if Brown will actually win. It’s tight. Tesei will win Tierney’s seat. Not sure about Bielat but i pray he wins.

If Obummer does win MA it won’t be by much.

No, if obozo wins the GOP who couldn’t put forth a candidate to appeal to the masses are to blame. Don’t be like the democrats in 04, they blamed the voters too, completely ignoring the fact that their candidate sucked. Now Romney’s no Kerry, but if he can’t win this election it’s his own damn fault for being mister Romneycare, and the GOP for winding with him as their best shot.

I totally understand the concept of the Election Day purists -— but God didn’t promise me tomorrow, only today, so I choose to use the opportunity just in case.

I’ll bet there are some folks on the Eastern seaboard who wish NOW that they had voted early if they had an opportunity!!!

I know that if someone were to come to the US from Mars and watch the campaigns and debates it would be easy to assume that Obama must be the outsider/challenger and the Republican has been in the White House for the last four years

Reality is... THIS is a referendum on OBAMA and not the challenger. If Obama wins, he has a MANDATE as far as he is concerned and who needs to go through Congress when you have a MANDATE?

That’s how Obama thinks.

This is a referendum on Obama

My daughter and I vote absentee. We’re election inspectors, and are always swamped with new same day registrations. By voting absentee, we’re certain to get the time to vote.

I wait until election day and go in person specifically to annoy the 2 Dem poll workers who always seem to hopefully search their list for my name...and then I joke around with the [R] ladies with whom I went to school.

I will vote in PA on Tuesday. I will be asked for my ID, but it is optional. I will show my carry license, which meets all of the requirements for the new voter ID law in PA that goes into effect after this election. (Although it is never mentioned as a valid ID) I am just curious to see what happens. The precinct judge has been my neighbor for over 20 years. She’ll get a kick out that.

I already voted because I moved to Texas last weekend and wouldn’t be able to vote here on Election Day (since I’m not dead or a Democrat). There was no way I would miss voting against BO!

There only 2 candidates now. Are you still having a temper tantrum?

You either vote for Romney or you are responsible for his loss (and thus obozo’s win).

There is no middle ground.

Have you voted Yet?

Who is this person Yet? I assume it's a person's name because you capitalized it.

I totally understand the concept of the Election Day purists

I prefer to call it traditionalism. I AM a traditionalist. But this tradition has in the past made it impossible to me to be able to cast my vote against those running for office who wish to destroy many of the American traditions I hold dearly.

Before there was early voting, I was unable to leave my job to vote in favor of traditional marriage.

Before there was early voting, I was unable to vote against the candidate who says it's a "Holiday Tree" and not a "Christmas Tree".

Before there was early voting, I was unable to vote for the candidate who saw abortion as murder.

In 2012 THANKS TO EARLY VOTING, I was able to vote AGAINST the President who says America Is NOT A Christian nation. And vote against I did - a month ago.

When one tradition threatens all the others, it's time for it to be sacrificed.

Thanks to early voting many dead Republicans have passed on knowing that their early vote will have the last word. Some have no idea if they will be here next week but they know their vote WILL BE.
