Koch Industries, the Wichita, Kan.-based company run by the billionaire Koch brothers, sent a voter information packet to 45,000 employees of its Georgia Pacific subsidiary earlier this month.
In it was a letter, dated Oct. 1, from Koch Industries president Dave Robertson implicitly warning that "many of our more than 50,000 U.S. employees and contractors may suffer the consequences" of voting for President Obama and other Democrats in the 2012 elections, a list of conservative candidates the company's political action committee endorses and a pair of editorials: one, by David Koch, supporting Mitt Romney, and the other, by Charles Koch, condemning Obama.
"While we are typically told before each Presidential election that it is important and historic, I believe the upcoming election will determine what kind of America future generations will inherit," Robertson's letter--first published by InTheseTimes.com--begins. "If we elect candidates who want to spend hundreds of billions in borrowed money on costly new subsidies for a few favored cronies, put unprecedented regulatory burdens on businesses, prevent or delay important new construction projects, and excessively hinder free trade, then many of our more than 50,000 U.S. employees and contractors may suffer the consequences, including higher gasoline prices, runaway inflation, and other ills. This is true regardless of what your political affiliation might be."

Wow... how times have changed.
I suspect that the next day, the credit rating will tank, and banks will start foreclosing on property that they have stood easy for the last months....regardless of the election results.
I strongly encourage Wisconsin employers to use the verify the recall website as a tool to check for those that signed the Governor Walker and other anti-Republican recall petitions.
This is an excellent way to check if your potential new employee hires are anti-business/pro-union and it can help determine who should be let go if you feel the need to downsize.

Fantastic Idea!
It is long past time for these people to pay a penalty for letting their philosophical “dog” crap in other people’s yards!
Excellent!

Good point.
You mean, there are consequences when you vote?/s
Great idea and the time has come.
Are they TRYING to ruin the future of their children and grandchildren?
I suppose the letter qualifies as the 60 day notice prior to lay off
Yep.
Government employers and unions tell people how to vote. It's high time the free market let private employees know they may be let go and definitely 'we will not be hiring' if there is an Obama second term. Not a threat, just reality. . businesses will not be able to cope with the increased taxes, Obamacare and increased regulations. .
Outstanding!
The last blind date I went on in Minnesota did not go well. The witch (a schoolteacher who imbibed the union Kool-Aid) found that one of my major clients was Flint Hills Resources - The Evil Koch Brothers (c). She hissed and spat like I had held a crucifix before her. She almost got to the point of projectile vomit and head spin round and round.
At least Tsongas correctly recognized the trend forming in the Democrat Party towards anti-capitalism.
They are as this is not the first business owner that has done this. They see it as “VOTE FOR ROMNEY OR I’LL FIRE YOU!!!”
instead of a truthful heads-up. If Zero is re-elected, many businesses will cut back, go into hibernation mode on growth, or completely shut down. I know, I’ve talked to the owners. Venture capitalists are sitting on the dollars, scared to make a move. The business community has been holding it’s breath for four years and they are waiting to exhale on Nov. 7th.
