This thread is to consolidate all information on the Benghazi fiasco.
Starting with the Live Thread on Congressional Hearings, 10 October 2012:

Col. Hunt on the Newest Libyan Revelations (huge coverup!)

see Post #14:
For six hours the entire military, intelligence, diplomatic and civil command structure of the United States government watched, in real time, as our consulate in Benghazi was under attack, while our ambassador and his hobbled security died.
That command structure did nothing. Afterward, they lied outright to cover-up their own culpability for political reasons. An intelligence failure, under the circumstances, was impossible.
And most democRat voters don't care, and will vote for the anti-American, lying traitors.
Why this race is close still amazes me. People voting for free stuff instead of freedom.
Benghazi Worse than Watergate
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2938014/posts
For over forty years now, the Watergate scandal the June 1972 break-in at the Democratic National Committee headquarters and the subsequent cover-up by the Nixon administration has been the sine qua non of American political malfeasance. It has been followed by myriad other gates affecting both parties but has never been superseded.
Until now.
Benghazi or Benghazigate, as some call it, is worse. Far worse. Incomparably worse....
(Pat Caddell & Kirsten Powers agree)
Great thread from last night with a lot of links and theories:

Great title: “Let the Leaks Begin.”
Hearings- A few tidbits that may connect the dots:
-Withdrawl of security and support right before attack
-Funding/Money for security was not an issue
-SAMs are a part of the story
-The blind sheik is part of the story
-”Intellegence Community” and “State Department” are different entities
-Patrick Kennedy reports to HRC and appeared evasive
-Lamb was forced under oath to say that decisions about security at the site were made above her level, a job she normally handled.

Another exceptional thread with a lot of links from other sources. This one ties a lot of things together.

I think this is of key importance as the WH keeps saying they didn't know of these threats and need for increased security. This came out 1 day prior to the attacks and then fell by the wayside.

Likewise, National Security Council spokesman Tommy Vietor fired back the following response to Politico via email:
The President is among the most sophisticated consumers of intelligence on the planet, National Security Council spokesman Tommy Vietor wrote in an e-mail. He receives and reads his [Presidential Daily Brief] every day, and most days when hes at the White House receives a briefing in person. When necessary he probes the arguments, requests more information or seeks alternate analysis. Sometimes thats via a written assessment and other times its in person.
White House disputes report on intel briefs
Carney made a direct comparison between Obamas administration and the one Thiessen worked for. I believe if you compare our foreign policy record with the one
that proceeded this one, were comfortable with that comparison, he said at the White Houses daily press briefing. This president is very much steeped in the details of national security issues. Read more: http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0912/80992.html#ixzz29CtOaWIr
Great idea bookmark.
I did not know this:
“... Susan Rice married Ian Cameron on September 12, 1992 in Washington, DC; the two met while at Stanford. Cameron is executive producer of ABC News’s “This Week with George Stephanopoulos.” The couple have two young children....”
